Hackney Labour-led Council has made a formal submission to become a certified Borough of Sanctuary - recognising work being done to support those seeking refuge. The council refugee service helps over 1,000 people pa. - supporting sanctuary seekers - standing up to the far right.

Since @SadiqKhan launched Building Council Homes for Londoners in 2018 more than 25k have been built or are underway. Sadiq spoke to @MrGeorgeClarke about the inportance of social housing as we celebrated @haringeycouncil building it’s 1000th new home.
