PSA: Critical vulnerability in #Roboform #passwordManager An attacker can remotely make *authenticated* GET/POST requests to *any* website and grab the contents. It doesn't matter if you're signed in to Roboform or not - just having the extension installed is enough. Uninstall it IMMEDIATELY. Note: Last time I responsibly disclosed a serious flaw to Siber Systems was 2014. They couldn't replicate it, told everyone it was nonsense, publicly defamed me - then quietly fixed it. @dmkenney @buildItN0w I’ve been looking at doing the opposite. @1Password has been a pain the last few days when it comes to customer support. @Bitwarden has responded every single time within the same business day (usually a few hours) Going on day 2 waiting for @1Password to help. 😭🫣

I used Bitwarden for years. For a pure password manager worked fine. Wasn’t the best UX/had some bugs around saving new passwords and updating existing ones, but was fine. But is way behind when it comes to features for developers. I recently switched to 1Password and it’s light years ahead in terms of developer experience with their CLI and SSH integration, etc..

This the most first world problem thing I’ve ever typed so far... @1Password spoiled me with how it logs in for you. With @Bitwarden I have to actually click the login button. 🤦🏾‍♂️🫣 Hoping I’m just missing a setting somewhere.

@EugeneBrown @RhysSullivan Bitwarden is really unpolished in a few ways. Or maybe I have gotten spoiled from using 1P for the last 3 years. Sharing passwords sucks, autofill for cards isn’t great. iPhone UX is cumbersome.
