AI Atrophy is a real risk. If you spend time on X, you’ve likely encountered the "AI-maxxer." This is the archetype that believes in using AI for everything, from writing code to replacing a physiotherapist for post-op care (I’m only half-kidding.) Using AI strategically can lead to massive gains in efficiency. However, we are starting to witness the firsthand effects of AI being the first port of call for everything. When we stop using AI to augment our capabilities and start using it to outsource our thinking, planning and reflection…we trigger AI Atrophy. And we end up weakening the very faculties that make us humans. To combat this, we need to enforce a "Pen on Paper" mental framework - - Engineers - Map the architecture and define the system components before you touch a code editor. - Marketing - Draft the core narrative and "soul" of the story before generating any content. - Sales - Conceptualize the value prop and key emotional hooks before building the pitch deck. Focus on the What and the Why before you let AI handle the How. AI is a powerful means to an end, but it is never the end in itself.

For our sixth and final episode of @Revamp0fficial Season 1 (yes, we are reaching a milestone!), @shuklashobhit and I sat down with a guest who defies the modern "mile wide/inch deep" mindset: @Vivek_Sunder, CEO of Kerala Ayurveda Limited (@keralaayuusa). Vivek is a rare breed - a leader who has mastered brand building, consumer psychology, and storytelling across vastly different sectors. After our prep call, we knew this wasn't just a podcast; it was an education. We rarely meet people who have this uncanny ability to learn from any and every interaction - Vivek is one of those. Inside the episode: #1 The @ProcterGamble Era: How Vivek used market research to find brilliant solutions in unexpected places. #2 The @Swiggy Nudge: The UI secrets that turned an app into a daily habit for millions. #3 The Science of Ayurveda: How he’s reframing an ancient practice through rigorous, research-backed evidence (wait until you see the stacks of papers he brought to the recording!). Whether you’re a 20-something finding your path or a seasoned leader, this conversation on the human mind is essential listening. It’s a long one, but you won't feel the minutes pass. Podcast drops tomorrow! Link to the channel in the comments.

Hard work is a choice. Many of us are born with certain gifts - intellect, charisma, memory or vivid imagination. That’s the hand we are dealt. But Hard Work is a choice. We choose to work hard or we don’t. With some longitudinal data, I have seen this time and again: Hard Work >> “Gifts” you are born with. At @EvamLabs, we care less about your “gifts” and more about what you do with them. We hire for the old school “blue collar work ethic” over pedigree. We have often brought people onto the team without a specific role in mind, simply because their work ethic was impossible to overlook. We want to be the platform for your life’s work, a space where you can focus on the daily craft of "becoming" rather than the pressure to “become”. In the images here, you see @sameer_pendse in office at 10pm on 31st Dec and 7.30am on 1st January to make sure we deliver on something we committed to; and the team celebrating Women’s day at midnight with @VazElishia and @SamridhiOberoi after coding for 16+ hours straight in our weekend hackathon. If you’ve made the choice to work hard, we want to meet you. Let’s build something that matters.

@surobhidas moved her own wedding lunch to dinner because the work didn't stop. That's the kind of all-in this takes. She's built brands that sit in your daily routine. Now she's building regional connectivity in India through @lataerospace - moving from grocery logistics to aeronautics without missing a beat. In Episode 5 of @Revamp0fficial, @shuklashobhit and I talk to Surobhi about pivots, purpose, and what it actually means to lead when the stakes are at their highest. The kind of conversation you have with someone who has seen enough to stop pretending the journey is linear. We closed with Stanley Tucci's "What I Ate in One Year" - which turned out to mirror her philosophy more than we expected. Curiosity as a strategy. No matter how intense the build, there's always room for a good meal and a better story. If you’re a builder, a foodie, or someone who thrives in high-stakes situations, this episode is for you. Episode drops today.

Past weekend, the Evam Labs team was breathing the 'Do Hard Things. Fast.' mantra. We clocked 15+ hours of non-stop coding to build all our brand websites from scratch and also proved that the deadline was just the starting line, as the team continued refining their builds long after the 'D-day' clock stopped; not to compete with others, but to push the limits of what they could achieve. Seeing everyone glued to their seats, was a true testament to our belief that work is the only proof that matters here. PS: The last photo is a core memory…celebrating Women’s Day at 12:00 AM right in the middle of the hackathon. Links to what we built are in the comments!

The intersection of world-class expertise and the AI frontier...is the new unfair advantage. In our latest piece, Anand explores why simply "ranking" is no longer enough. In a world of AI agents and synthesised answers, trust and entity recognition are the new prerequisites for existence. 𝗧𝗵𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗼𝘀𝗼: 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 5 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀 Link in the comments.

Building in a volatile industry like travel is a risk many avoid. @Pickyourtrail is the prime example of how to thrive while the rest of the world navigates geopolitical shifts. Our guest on the 4th episode of @Revamp0fficial is @HariPyt, is a force of nature. Having known him for almost two decades, @sreejan_c and I know his secret: a deep love for the craft he picks up, whether it's consumer experience or mastering the German language. This would be a great podcast for: - The younger generation to learn how to bootstrap in the experience economy, rather than just spending on it. - The IIMB Community as they get a chance to relive that classic Hari energy we all remember. We wrapped the session by handing him Piyush Mishra’s “Tumhari Aukaat kya hai.” The title humbled him, but the story inside is one I know he’ll appreciate. Episode drops tomorrow!

"Building products is faster and cheaper than ever. How do you build a moat when anyone can just clone your idea tomorrow?" At a recent event, a student asked me this question. It's a fair point. Building v1 of anything is incredibly easy today. But there is a massive gap between a good demo and an enterprise-grade product. In the B2B world, the stakes are high and enterprises don't just want a cool tool; they want to look under the hood. Most importantly, they want to bet on something that’s reliable. We are shifting from an era of rule-based, static software to systems that learn, adapt and get better over time. As a result, the hardest part of building a product has fundamentally changed. And it's all about who can validate the best. You have to completely reimagine validation. Day 1 learning is totally different from Day 90 learning for an AI product. A traditional "pass/fail" scorecard doesn't work anymore; validation and feedback have to form a continuous loop. In the old days, the majority of the work was done before you launched the product. Today, because these systems are continuously learning, the majority of the work is done after you deploy, through rigorous testing and tight enterprise feedback loops. Hence, building is a lot easier/cheaper/faster; but building something that an Enterprise will buy remains hard and still requires patience, iteration and relentless execution. And to shorten the feedback loop, you need to move fast. Hence, our motto at @EvamLabs - Do Hard Things. Fast.

Is your AI strategy built around the model - or the orchestration? This is one of the most common conversations we’re having with enterprise customers right now. AT&T was processing 27 billion tokens a day. And then they hit a wall. Running everything through frontier LLMs simply didn’t scale - the cost curve broke before the value curve did. So they rearchitected their AI stack. The results were impressive: • 90% reduction in cost per use case • 5x ROI on AI investment within the same year • 100,000+ employees using “Ask AT&T” daily What changed wasn’t the model. It was the architecture. At @EvamLabs, we’re seeing the same pattern across deployments: the way tasks are routed between agents often matters 10x more than the model itself. The enterprise AI playbook we are increasingly building around looks something like this: #1 The Brain: A large frontier LLM acting as a “super agent” for orchestration and complex reasoning. #2 The Muscles: Fine-tuned Small Language Models (SLMs) handling production execution - fast, cheap, and domain-specific. #3 The Nervous System: A multi-agent orchestration layer routing tasks to the most efficient worker agent. This shift is not only massive but very effective. The question is no longer “Which model is smartest?” It’s “Which tasks actually require frontier reasoning - and which just need fast, specialized execution?” You don’t need frontier models for every task. Yet many enterprises are still buying subscriptions to a single frontier model and asking employees to run everything through it. The companies winning at enterprise AI right now aren’t debating benchmarks. They’re perfecting their orchestration layer. @shuklashobhit @VazElishia @SamridhiOberoi @pxateek
