The goal is to “democratize autonomy”—bringing capable automated driving features to millions of everyday Ford vehicles at affordable price points, rather than focusing only on expensive luxury cars or robotaxis. 😳 👉 Key Focus Areas Latitude AI is building a unified in-house ADAS platform from the ground up (including perception, compute architecture, machine learning models, and full-stack autonomy). It aims to deliver: • Enhanced hands-free driving (improving on current systems). • Eyes-off capabilities in certain conditions (SAE Level 3). • Features like traffic light and intersection handling. • Progress toward seamless point-to-point automated driving. 🆕 This platform is supposed to debut on Ford’s all-new Universal Electric Vehicle (UEV) Platform in 2027, with Level 3 “eyes-off” autonomous driving targeted for 2028 (starting on vehicles like their affordable electric pickup). ❓What do you think?

The most interesting way I’ve started thinking about 𝕏 is as a digital Earth. A place where people, ideas, communication, intelligence and (very soon) commerce all coexist in one living system. Maybe it isn’t so strange that a space company is the one building it now.
