Can robots learn a bimanual dexterous skill from just one video? DexImit makes it possible 🏄‍♂️ — automatically converting human videos into physically plausible training data for bimanual manipulation, either from text2video models or real-world recordings.

The key for deploying learning IO on UAVs is the input coordinate frame (a simple fix improves 66.7% ATE). air-io.github.io Compared to IMO, our proposed AirIO achieve a superior performance without any additional information like thrust. (@smash0190 @cannnnxu )

🎉🎉Glad to announce that Scaffold-GS has been selected as a highlight at #CVPR2024. Congrats and thanks to all of my talented collaborators. Project page: city-super.github.io/scaffold-gs/
AK@_akhaliq

Scaffold-GS: Structured 3D Gaussians for View-Adaptive Rendering paper page: huggingface.co/papers/2312.00… Neural rendering methods have significantly advanced photo-realistic 3D scene rendering in various academic and industrial applications. The recent 3D Gaussian Splatting method has achieved the state-of-the-art rendering quality and speed combining the benefits of both primitive-based representations and volumetric representations. However, it often leads to heavily redundant Gaussians that try to fit every training view, neglecting the underlying scene geometry. Consequently, the resulting model becomes less robust to significant view changes, texture-less area and lighting effects. We introduce Scaffold-GS, which uses anchor points to distribute local 3D Gaussians, and predicts their attributes on-the-fly based on viewing direction and distance within the view frustum. Anchor growing and pruning strategies are developed based on the importance of neural Gaussians to reliably improve the scene coverage. We show that our method effectively reduces redundant Gaussians while delivering high-quality rendering. We also demonstrates an enhanced capability to accommodate scenes with varying levels-of-detail and view-dependent observations, without sacrificing the rendering speed.

@arnicas @_akhaliq The BungeeNeRF datasets we experimented with were rendered from Google Earth, but their quality is upperbounded by the original quality of the mesh. I've come across some fascinating project likes this (x.com/kfarr/status/1… ), which could be an interesting integration.

Combine @googlemaps 3d tiles and @LumaLabsAI gaussian splat scans via @aframevr / @threejs for high fidelity at tiny scale AND zoomable out to city scale all in the browser. 🙏 @glitch hosting, @playcanvas splat editing, @NYTimesRD 3dtiles component maps-and-splats.glitch.me

@EvenEveno @_akhaliq Could you work with the google earth 3d tiles to create a better view? They are terrible at high res and have lots of mesh errors but could be useful input?

We have released the MatrixCityPlugin, render sequences, config and related scripts (github.com/city-super/Mat…). - collect large-scale and high-quality city data. - control lighting, fog, human and car crowds. - obtain depth, normal, decomposed BRDF materials.
