The risk of a woman being abused or assaulted in the women's toilet is indeed low, as long as it remains women-only. Risk goes up considerably when men are admitted to women's spaces. thetimes.com/life-style/sex… I'd be very interested to see the statistics on a trans-identified man's risk of being assaulted in the men's bathroom. Do you have them, @owenjonesjourno?
Owen Jones@owenjonesjourno

The risk of a trans woman being abused or assaulted in the men’s toilet per visit = extremely high. The risk of a woman being abused or assaulted in the women’s toilet per visit = extremely low.

Tony Blair's system for running our country Leads to increasingly grotesque outcomes It now regularly ruins the lives of innocent women and children - the system has to go. I will be praying tonight for those victims of this disgusting rape.
GB News@GBNEWS

'It's grotesque, I don't say that as a barrister I say that as a father. This is absolutely grotesque' Steven Barrett fumes at two teenage boys being spared jail despite being found guilty of rape. He says Keir Starmer is responsible for guidelines which informed the sentencing.

“Does ANYONE else believe Nicola Sturgeon knew nothing about her husband’s crimes?” They were married. He ran the party. She was leader. How do you not notice a £124k campervan? 🤔🤭🤷‍♂️ Be honest who actually buys this?

@jk_rowling The overreaction by these men is appalling, here's Himdia comparing his plight of not being a woman legally to what the hundreds of thousands of homosexuals who were imprisoned and murdered in nazi Germany had to endure, these people aren't right.

Funny, isn’t it, how women who’ve been raped or beaten are accused of ‘weaponising’ their trauma when they ask for male-free spaces, but trans-identified men who claim using the Gents has a higher mortality rate than armed combat are met with credulity and simpering concern.

Now I didn’t write this. A simple hypothetical question to a popular AI - if all Muslims left the UK tomorrow. Make of it as you will: “The most obvious would be a major reduction in Islamist influence and religious pressure on British public life. Mosques, charities, campaign groups and political networks used to promote political Islam, sectarian voting, blasphemy-style restrictions or sharia-influenced norms would lose their domestic base. The constant demand that criticism of Islam be treated as “Islamophobia” would carry far less political force. There would likely be less pressure around religious accommodation in schools, public bodies, prisons, workplaces and local government. Arguments over sex segregation, compulsory modesty expectations, public prayer, halal provision, non-stun slaughter, religious dress, faith-based lobbying and teaching that conflicts with British social norms would reduce substantially. Some areas with highly concentrated Muslim populations would almost certainly become less culturally segregated over time. Where communities currently operate through separate languages, marriage patterns, religious authority, overseas family networks and inward-looking local politics, the disappearance of that population would remove a significant driver of parallel community life. There would also be a reduction in the specific safeguarding and criminality issues associated with some male-dominated communities. The grooming gang scandals involving predominantly Pakistani-heritage Muslim men would not have occurred in the same form. Honour-based abuse, forced marriage, female genital mutilation within affected communities, cousin-marriage-linked health burdens, and some forms of religious or familial coercion would reduce sharply or disappear within the UK. The terrorist and security threat from Islamist extremism would fall dramatically. Britain would still face other threats, but the threat from jihadist attacks, radicalisation networks, extremist preaching, terror financing and the mobilisation of anger around overseas Islamic causes would be greatly reduced. There would be less political and social tension around events such as Gaza, blasphemy controversies, Quran burnings, depictions of Muhammad, Islamist street mobilisation and intimidation of Jewish communities or critics of Islam. The October 7 aftermath exposed how quickly imported religious and Middle Eastern conflicts can destabilise British streets and public discourse. Demand for further immigration through family formation and community-chain migration from Muslim-majority countries would also fall significantly. That would reduce some future pressure on housing, schools, translation services, welfare, community cohesion and integration policy.”

The tragic case of Henry Nowak is the latest confirmation of a pattern in which non-white attackers can stab, rape or even kill white people and face only token consequences by crying racism, argues Frank Haviland. dailysceptic.org/2026/05/26/whe…

I would be genuinely interested to see comparative UK statistics showing trans women attacked in male toilets versus women attacked by trans women in female toilets or changing rooms. As far as I can establish, no such reliable comparative data exists. I have an inkling.. But women should not have to prove an assault rate before their privacy, dignity and safety are respected. Allowing biological males into female toilets and changing rooms creates an obvious safeguarding vulnerability, particularly where predatory men can exploit gender identity as a pretext to gain access to intimate female spaces. This is not complicated. Women deserve single-sex spaces. Children deserve safeguarding. Predatory men must not be handed a loophole. And policy should be based on biological reality, not ideology. #SingleSexSpaces #WomensRights #Safeguarding #ProtectWomenAndGirls #BiologicalReality #GenderIdeology #SexMatters #WomenWontWheesht

Birmingham city centre late at night, particularly the nightlife corridors around Broad Street, Southside, parts of Digbeth and routes between venues, car parks and stations. West Midlands Police recorded 423 violence and sexual offences in the City Centre policing area in March 2026 alone, and recently conducted a specific city-centre walk-through with a women’s group focused on spiking, transport and women’s safety. Ladywood, Bordesley and Highgate, and Soho and Jewellery Quarter are areas I would avoid walking through alone at night unless on busy, well-lit routes. Birmingham City Council’s community safety data identified these among the wards with the highest recorded violent crime. Ladywood had the highest reported violent-crime total in the dataset, followed by Bordesley and Highgate and Soho and Jewellery Quarter. I would also be cautious after dark in Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath East, Aston and Alum Rock, particularly away from main roads or when moving alone between transport and a destination. The council’s official safety data placed these areas among those with higher recorded weapon-crime totals, and Sparkbrook/Balsall Heath East among the areas with higher recorded knife-crime totals.
