$QUBIC, the increase in circulating supply keeps coming up as a concern. It is legitimate, and it deserves a real answer, with numbers and verifiable sources. Here is how the tokenomics actually work today, without misleading simplification. 1 trillion QUBIC is emitted every week, without exception, every epoch. That is the gross emission, and that number does not change. Since the first halving in August 2025, 55 percent of this emission is immediately burned at the protocol level. So the net emission that actually reaches circulation is 450 billion per week. Over two months, that represents about 3.6 trillion new tokens. This is exactly what we observe on the explorers. In parallel, four burn mechanisms work in the opposite direction. Smart contract execution burns. Every network operation burns QUBIC. No paid validators, no redistribution, just destruction. Halving burns. The next one is planned at Epoch 227, in August 2026. It will raise the burn rate to 78.75 percent. Net emission will then drop to about 213 billion per week. IPO burns. Every smart contract launched on QUBIC goes through a Dutch auction, and all the QUBIC bid is burned. QBridge alone burned 547 billion. Mining surplus burns. The mined DOGE is sold, QUBIC is repurchased on the market, redistributed, and the surplus is burned. This pressure is external, not recycled. Today, at Epoch 211: 138 trillion in circulation, 31 trillion locked in QEarn, 41.5 trillion already burned cumulatively. The Supply Watcher dynamically adjusts the rates to prevent any drift. Its current projection caps the supply at around 196.8 trillion before it begins to decline. The 200 trillion threshold will never be reached. What this means concretely. Seeing the supply increase by 3 to 4 trillion over two months is not a hidden drift. It is exactly what the mechanism predicts. The real turning point will come with the August 2026 halving, which will cut net emission by more than half. From there, the gap between emissions and burns will tighten until the balance flips. Everything is verifiable. Everything is documented. Everything is in motion.

Como ya os avancé hoy toca hablar de un proyecto del que me enamoré rápidamente: $QUBIC $qubic intenta resolver una idea muy simple: Hoy muchas redes usan minería para gastar energía resolviendo cálculos que solo sirven para proteger la red. @_Qubic_ propone otra cosa: 👉 usar esa potencia de los mineros para hacer cómputo útil, especialmente ligado a IA. #AIGARTH A eso lo llama uPoW: Useful Proof of Work. Lo interesante es que no quiere empezar desde cero. Está intentando atraer potencia que ya existe: Primero, mineros de $xmr , que usan CPU. Ahora, mineros de $doge , que usan ASICs. La idea es: si ya existe mucha potencia de minería repartida por el mundo, ¿por qué no redirigirla hacia tareas útiles? Por eso QUBIC no va solo de “otra moneda”. Va de convertir minería en infraestructura de cómputo. Y si en el futuro la IA necesita cada vez más energía y procesamiento, esta tesis puede volverse muy importante.
