Is @Tewodros_Tse suggesting that the TPF was set up by Abiy to do Abiy’s bidding in Tigray? Is he denigrating the militia resistance in Raya and Wejerat as Abiy’s project? Is he borrowing a page from TPLF’s playbook? I truly hope not.

Getachew Reda’s ‘Jesus moment’ has arrived, and it’s brutal. Against the advice of friends and family, he abandoned Tigray’s cause to serve Abiy’s genocidal regime. Today, in his @AJHeadtoHead interview with @mehdirhasan (‘Getachew Reda on his complicated relationship with PM Abiy Ahmed’), his unlicensed hypocrisy and ego are on full display. His rightful obsessive bad-mouthing of Abiy and his regime in the past would now be activated (was put under dormant state) after he’s handed the regime he chose to serve every excuse to discard him with this interview. Sadly the interview is going to make him a SORE loser from every side. He risks total alienation—there wasn’t much left from Tigray, but from his new found buddies who would always prioritize Abiy over him. Trust? Gone. Influence? Eroded. This looks like a self-destruction plot. I think, unless Abiy still needs him for unfinished dirty work that can only be done through him, this could be the final blow- bad ending! From hero to pariah- Tragic fall for a man once honored by Tigray, elevated to party leadership for his rhetoric, not substance. He desecrated that trust. Now, he stands alone. From kingmaker to liability: Getachew Reda’s fall is complete. Already alienated by much of Tigray for betraying his people, this interview will make even Abiy’s inner circle cringe. Now, they must be saying- if this is what he says publicly, imagine what he told diplomats privately. Hope he repents now. @declanwalsh @CTeklebirhan @DawitSeyoum14 @JoeTseGy @JborgGa @Wedi_ATM @addisstandard @UMDMedia_ @TeklehaymanotG @AmanuelGebru9 @AzebAregawi CC- next up? @HornAnarchists @Haqi07772301 If you don’t go by the name TPLF and you don’t have the institution backing you then you’re not tplf . Simple as that . They crated a party simret backed by pp so they should stick to that period.

@Haqi07772301 Ah…let’s not get bogged down in the semantics. But That’s because Simret failed to retain the name tplf. But they were calling themselves tplf for while. Plus the tplf recognition. EF productive description of the big picture (Tigray’s accelerated fragmentation) is great.

I am a fan of EthioForum and Yatesew. I don't criticize them when they make mistakes. Both of them suffered because of their stance on Tigray and Tegaru. But today's reporting said "Debretsion led TPLF faction". What faction?? There are no factions. They should report facts.

Neither 🇪🇷 with the slogan “Game over” nor 🇪🇹 with the slogan “TPLF is like dispersed soil” have won TPLF as it still exists. But it is up to us, Tigrayans to make sure that the TPLF and their factions should cease to exist in the Tigrayan politics.

General Sibhat Ephrem highlights Menelik’s ignorance regarding the Red Sea and the Suez Canal during his reign. While he is credited with laying the foundations of the Ethiopian empire and introducing schools and hospitals, Menelik remained preoccupied with conquering the Oromo hinterland and never turned his attention toward the Red Sea. Remarkably, until his death in 1916, he was unaware of the developments surrounding the Suez Canal.

@Sief_Gomida That’s fine for now we have Tigray a regional state in Ethiopia where people have the ability to grow and evolve both as humans and tegaru . Where they get education, proper learning and protection, build thier community and themselves, where they build their faith and identity.

So, you think we have forgotten? No!!! No!!! The time will come to settle the score !!! During the late 1980s, one of the most notorious atrocities committed by the Ethiopian army in Eritrea occurred in the town of She'eb Ghedghed. On May 12, 1988, Ethiopian military forces targeted the civilian population of She'eb during the closing years of the Eritrean War of Independence. The Ethiopian soldiers razed and burnt the entire town. Civilians who failed to escape in time were rounded up, and many were reportedly ordered to assemble and then intentionally run over with tanks. Others attempting to flee the area were shot. The massacre resulted in the deaths of an estimated 200–500 civilians, with many women, elderly, and children among the victims. Following the events in She'eb, at least 100 more civilians were killed in neighboring villages by the same forces. These acts were aimed at terrorizing the Eritrean population and undermining local support for the Eritrean People’s Liberation Front (EPLF). Reports from human rights organizations recount patterns of systematic atrocities by the Ethiopian army during the 1980s in Eritrea. These included: Bombardment of civilian areas Extrajudicial executions of unarmed civilians and captured combatants Looting, destruction of property, and forced displacement of entire communities. The She'eb massacre remains one of the deadliest single events of civilian slaughter in the Eritrean war and stands as a symbol of the brutality exhibited by the Ethiopian military toward the Eritrean population during the final phase of the conflict. So, butchers and revisionists, how loudly you try to polish your lies, how desperately you try to bury the bones of your crimes beneath revisionist slogans. Yet every Eritrean carries the ledger in memory, carved deeper than stone. You think time erases? Time sharpens. You believe silence means forgiveness? Silence is only the inhale before the storm.

Justin Trudeau had massive support in his party, but he resigned because some section of his party didn't support him. This is called politics. The power mongering leaders (the old guard) of TPLF will need to learn from Trudeau and step aside for the sake of the party and nation
