مجرد توضيح 18 مايو هو يوم استعادة السيادة وليس استعادة الاستقلال.
صوماليلاند لم تتحد مع صوماليا ابدا ولا توجد وثيقة رسمية تدل عليه.
كنا تحت احتلال غاشم ل 30 سنة.
الجنوب العربي سيعود لمركزه.

في ١٨ مايو ٢٠٢٦م يحتفل شعب ارض الصومال الشقيق بذكرى استقلاله المجيد، فألف مبروك لهذا الشعب وقيادته الحكيمة، وهذه مناسبة لتبيان القواسم المشتركة التي تربط شعب الجنوب العربي بهذا الشعب الجار الشقيق:
١) ارض الصومال كانت محمية بريطانية مثل الجنوب العربي.
٢) حصلت ارض الصومال على استقلالها من بريطانيا في ٢٦ يونيو ١٩٦٠م ، قبل سبع سنوات من نيل الجنوب العربي استقلاله من بريطانيا.
٣) تم اتحاد بين ارض الصومال المستقلة مع الصومال الايطالي ( مقديشو ) ولكنه فشل، مثل الوحدة الفاشلة التي جرت بين عدن وصنعاء في ١٩٩٠م
٤) في عام ١٩٩١م اعلنت ارض الصومال استعادة استقلالها فاصبحت دولة ديمقراطية ومستقرة وواعدة في التنمية والتطور. والجنوب يأمل الوصول الى هذا المستوى قريباً ان شاء الله.

يعد الحاج فارح عمر من أوائل المناضلين والسياسيين الصوماليين، إذ أسّس أول حزب سياسي صومالي عام 1932 في مدينة عدن باليمن. تلقى تعليمه في الهند، وبعد تأسيسه حزب الاتحاد الإسلامي الصومالي في عدن، عاد إلى الصومال بهدف توعية شعبه والسعي للتحرر من الاستعمار البريطاني. غير أنه واجه معارضة شديدة، من داخل قبيلته(عشيرة اسحاق ) في مدينة هرجيسا، حيث فضّلت العشيرة الحفاظ على مصالحها وامتيازاتها التي ارتبطت بوجود الإدارة الاستعمارية البريطانية.وتعرّض لمضايقات قاسية، بلغت حد التحريض عليه داخل محيطه الأسري، إذ أُجبرت زوجته على الانفصال عنه وتزويجها من رجل آخر من القبيلة. واستمر الضغط عليه من قبل الإدارة الاستعمارية البريطانية، فعاش في عزلة ومعاناة حتى توفي مهمّشًا وبعيدًا عن الأضواء

Do we want Greece to make an announcement that it is fake?
- Not followed by Somaliland gov accounts.
- An announcement should have been made by the government first.
- It's sooo unprofessional to tweet before the official word (if we assume it's true).
- Lack of logic: a Somaliland Envoy to Greece should be a Lander, not the other way around. 😂
