@Partisan_12 Jesus wasn’t leading a revolt against the Romans. He was leading a revolt against the Jewish religious leaders.

Ben Shapiro mocking Jesus: “From a Jewish point of view or we don't believe in the divinity of Christ... we don't even believe he's a prophet... I think he was a Jew who tried to lead a revolt against the Romans and got k!lled for his trouble..”

I hope Brandon Lake knows Christ as Lord. The comradeship and promotion with false teachers like Furtick really should concern more discerning Christians.

@Sarah_Haar_ Widow here 🙋‍♀️ this is insulting and offensive. There’s nothing here that aligns with a widows grief. Where are her children and family? So disrespectful on all levels. Gross

I’ve never trusted Tylenol and don’t give it to my kids. In my experience, it has never relieved pain and has always worsened illness. I’m not surprised that it might be causing problems in fetal development.

Fox just canonized Charlie Kirk as a “true Christian martyr.” Benny Johnson said his death wasn’t a funeral but a “spiritual awakening,” with his social media doubling as proof of divine hand. They’re turning a murder into a holy war.

@testing521 there is no peace with dispensationalism. Dispensationalism wants zoomers saved to be sent to forever wars as sacrificial lambs so they can get a rapture reward.

I know I’m going to get torched for this. But is it a safe place for this Reformed Baptist to admit that he really, really likes The Blessing?

You can’t watch Charlie Kirk’s funeral and hold the dispensational view that society will only get worse. It’s not going to get worse; it’s going to get better. To God be the glory.

Right or wrong, here's what I think is going to happen to churches in the next few years: 1) The Conservatism / Progressivism divide will unfortunately get farther and farther apart in the coming years (Conservatism becomes more overtly "Christian", Progressivism becomes even more openly anti-Christian / secular) 2) Cultural flashpoints will continue to arise like COVID, Presidential Elections, BLM riots, Kirk assassination 3) Churches that try really hard to be a church where committed progressives can worship without being uncomfortable will lose a large chunk of the solid conservative Christians every time there's a flashpoint. I'm not CALLING FOR that, I'm predicting that. 4) Churches that are more openly clear about the cultural implications of Christianity (that very obviously aligns significantly more with modern conservatism than progressivism) will gain those people. 5) For lack of a better phrase, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer, because over time you can't really build a church with people committed to modern progressivism.

Christians who are against Christian nationalism - seems to want to convert a nation but not disciple it, want it to be Christian but live under pagan laws! If you are Christian, but against a Christian national identity, I think you are suffering from cognitive dissonance.

Dispensationalism deserves neither courtesy nor consideration. And if you get offended when people denounce it for the abject heresy that it is, then you are “effeminate” and need to sit on something pointy. Notice how I didn’t use foul language. But it would certainly be warranted.
