Good rainy morning from Arlington National Cemetery. Specifically, the final resting place of your hero husband Staff Sgt. Alan Shaw. His grave now has some fresh roses placed in front of it, alongside two American flags, a reminder that Americans truly appreciate his sacrifice. This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60. SSG Alan W. Immigrants at Delaney Hall are on a hunger strike because they are fighting for their human rights. The conditions there are deplorable. NBA teams are going to hate playing a San Antonio Spurs death lineup next season of Fox-Harper-Castle-Carter Bryant-Wemby. I would expect Bryant to take some offensive strides this offseason, and he’s already a psycho defender that fits right in. He’s the PF answer long term.

@Sheridanblog I think you are way wrong on Vassel. He is a big part of this team and absolutely needs to be retained. And Champagnie has really been struggling and needs a bench role and not starter role.

Trade for a PF who is better than Champagnie, bolster bench by bringing Champagnie off the bench Plumlee/Olynyk/Biyombo/Waters as 3rd string vets. It took them a long time, but the Spurs did a hell of a job building a team that will dominate for the next 10-15 years with room for improvement. They have great two-way talent and underrated two-way players who aren't undersized, surrounding a generational talent in Wemby. I look at this team building, and all I can do is shake my head at how disgustingly awful the Warriors organization has been in comparison.

@Evans_Wroten On one hand, we shouldn’t judge. Never know the situation. On the other hand, people used to dress in suits or dresses just about everyday, and carried themselves with dignity and had class and manners. We have fallen significantly as a society.

Not sure if it’s just my TL, but I haven’t seen many Memorial Day remembrance posts today. Memorial Day is a solemn day meant to ensure we never forget the heroes who fought and died protecting our freedom. It’s about honoring the sacrifice of those who gave everything for this country and remembering the families who carry that loss forever. Have people just forgotten what this day truly means?

At first I thought this had to be a parody. I thought no way this fruity ass mayor was possibly honoring George Floyd on Memorial Day… But here it is.

@BhattiLaib9960 I hope this is a joke. It’s a garage floor. They did their job. They fixed the leak. No one in their right mind would think $4400 is getting you more than that repair and patch. If you want, pay someone to coat the entire floor in epoxy.

I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭 They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor. So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better… And this man literally laughed and said: “It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀 BE GLAD IT’S NOT DIRT?? I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job. Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage. Would you push back and demand they resurface the area properly, or am I overreacting?

Rival executives may indeed be saying that, but anyone truly watching this series and understanding high-level basketball can see that De’Aaron Fox’s value to the Spurs has only become MORE obvious over the last few days. This series has highlighted just how much organization, late-clock creation, pace control, and veteran composure Fox brings to the floor, especially when OKC makes the game chaotic. Meanwhile, the Spurs’ young guards are still learning in real time against one of the most aggressive perimeter defenses in basketball. And honestly, seeing how much harder life becomes offensively without Fox only reinforces how important he already is to this team’s championship window. What say you?

This is not just about cleanliness it reflects a difference in upbringing and awareness. While adults left their water bottles scattered everywhere, a 3-year-old child picked up over 20 bottles and showed that good manners are not age-dependent.
