I don’t want to do this publicly but I will if I have to do so. I have spoken to Amanda this morning and she has agreed the story is not utter nonsense. They deny they ever made a promise to Bruno that he could leave. That denial is in the article but it does not change the fact that this is what Bruno’s reps have claimed took place. One of the justifications for wanting a move. Mehrdad and Amanda deny that was ever promised. There is a lot more that could be said about things but I will leave it there out of respect #nufc

@GianfrancoShoIa So why not keep potential bids and interest to themselves? They don’t because it’s click engagement or subscription to newspaper websites. They then wonder why the fans turn on them when transfers don’t happen 2/2

@GianfrancoShoIa I’m coming to the conclusion that the reason for all the anxiety etc about transfers is because of the journalists. They don’t need to report on transfers unless they have been completed. I’m sure they hear plenty from their sources that they keep to themselves 1/2

@SkySports_Keith This is football, however it happens to us more often than other PL clubs, we need to have the conviction to start being firmer and walk away from deals we have doubts in, we should set our stall out and walk away if there’s any doubts on the players side.

I stand by this. We moved on after the Munoz setback. Confident we will do the same after Manzambi too. If a player opts to go elsewhere for Champions League football, not much more we can do. Up to the club to keep things ticking over and I think they will #NUFC
