The problem with Superman 2025 is its made by someone who doesnt like Superman. Gunn made Superman a side character in favor of Mr. Terrific, Guy Gardiner, even Lois Lane. When you look at the movie objectively, Superman does not affect the plot that much beyond the background Boravia narrative. And this is besides the other clear sign Gunn hates Superman: how he made Jor-El sending Superman to earth to conquer it and form a Super-Harem. #DCU #JamesGunn

I’m calling it now… the Odyssey will underperform. There is no hype, no real marketing push, and no momentum for this film. Nolan isn’t enough to carry it, and just throwing endless stars at it isn’t going to cut it. There is no excitement for it online or in real life. It’s hard to say who this film is even really for at this point. Nolan fans I suppose? I think critics will be divided on it.
