Spanberger, who previously declared Governors shouldn’t interfere with the governance of universities, just fired the most beloved Rector in Va Tech history, John Rocovich. The man who was the force behind recruiting James Franklin to save the football program, who has served twice before as Rector, who has given decades of his life to his beloved alma matter was fired without explanation. This is a shameful act to appease her leftwing base & proves once again she is Governor Bait & Switch.

Here's my case and demographic analysis:
Baby Boomers are largely the cohort that opposes Massie (as well as Silent Generation that is older than them)
According to mortality trends based on age, in 2 years there will be approximately 4.5-6 million less boomers (as many are entering the "mortality cliff") and approximately 1.5-2 million less Silent Generation.
In total there will be approximately 7 million less people in the camp that tends to dislike Massie.
However, approximately 8 million new 18 year olds will also be created in the next 2 years, which largely would support Massie in a primary.
So in terms of just raw demographics the more "Pro Massie" demographic will grow by 8 million and the more "Anti Massie" demographic will shrink by 7 million.
This doesn't factor in at all the likelihood that Massie could very well become more popular in the next two years and the Trump aligned candidates (like Vance or Rubio) could become less popular.
Also Massie, like Trump did in 2024, is one of the few people that can put back together the coalition that won the White House. Conservatives, Libertarians, MAHA, and disaffected Liberals.
Am I the only one that thinks that Massie could win in 2028?

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration.
President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy.
If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake.
The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging.
President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

@MrLeadslinger I’d normally agree. But something really strange is going on. The line doesn’t move but the shadow sucks into his neck when he breathes. The video is also available on Fox and isn’t one of those grainy obviously blurred down to hide the edit jobs.

Close look at Ret. VAdm. Robert Harward Fox News appearance given concern of Mask slip with neck line showing. On close inspection, it does seem like the internet is again over- reacting, likely in a race to the bottom for views. The clipped overhung skin does not behave in a matter convincingly showing it is separate from the surrounding neck skin. It should stay bowed out with inhalation. That said, I have to admit, although it may be explained by lighting, it is the most convincing mask line I have seen on TV. And given that he was a former Deputy Commander of CENTCOM, it is presumed he would be trained on military psywar and possibly be "read in" if CENTOM has been commandeered by "white hats".

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death. Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty." Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed. "Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month. Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.
