A student gets a B in A Level Economics last Thursday.
Misses out on his first choice Uni.
It costs £180 for a remark.
It's upgraded to an A today.
Qus:
1. Why was it marked wrong in the first place?
2. How many other kids have the wrong grade too?

The issue is that with clearing being first come first served students often can't afford to wait for a remark at the expense of some very good courses going quickly

@ConnorScottG @danwaterfield It's because he did Chemistry as a 3rd A Level - Maths/Further Maths are only considered as one by the majority of unis, the mother conveniently left this out of original post

Horrified to see the riots and violence displayed in Rotherham as well as across the country- I hope anyone affected physically by the incidents has been able to get someplace safe and have their injuries treated

@HannyCastro91 @annasiancole Some people's do but that's because of unpopular combinations i.e. The Economics exam may be placed at the same time as the Drama exam but wouldn't be done at the same time as Maths or Politics

Although I may not be MYP anymore, it is quite sad that the BYC campaigns, from the UKYP programme to the Votes at 16 may not happen, especially given many districts have recently elected MYPs. I have therefore emailed two of my local MPs, and you should too!

The British Youth Council has helped lead youth voice, from leading the UKYP program to the select committees and the Votes at 16 campaign. Although we've had a few ups and downs with BYC with the MYP program, its sad to see them go, after over 75 years.
