Build your career. Then start looking for your wife while you move to a big city. (After 25) You’ll save yourself a lot of headaches.

Qualifications for voting should include only U.S. Citizens who:
1) Own property.
2) Work and pay income taxes.
3) Veterans.
4) Retirees (age 65 and older) who paid into Social Security (FICA taxes) for at least 20 years.
5) Spouses of the above categories.
No one else should be allowed to vote. I also think voting age should go back to starting at 21.

I truly don’t think Americans can comprehend just how remote and inaccessible most of the forests in Canada truly are, the logistical challenges to do their idea of “forest management” are just not possible with how sparse and undeveloped northern Ontario and Manitoba are

I am reaching out to Members of Parliament and the Canadian Ambassador to demand answers about the devastating impact Canada’s forest management failures are having on Western New York, the Southern Tier, and communities across the United States. Millions of Americans are paying the price for policies they had no role in creating.
We can all accept that nature is unpredictable. But repeated failures to reduce wildfire risk and manage forests responsibly are a policy choice. The United States cannot continue accepting dangerous air quality every summer as the new normal.
Canada must take meaningful action to prevent these catastrophic wildfires and protect both Canadians and Americans. If it refuses to do so, there should be consequences. Our citizens should not be forced to suffer because another nation’s government failed to do its job.

As expected. Bagged lettuce from a primary distributor that services grocery and food service across a central distribution point in Michigan. I imagine this was caused by contaminated water so it’s probably hitting other bagged lettuce products as well. My advice, only eat salads from whole lettuce heads not bagged and processed, ever.

We tried it in the 70s and people HATED it. So much so that we repealed it with almost universal, bipartisan support after just one year. As it stands, my kid would be going to school almost an hour before the sun rises in mid-winter if this happens. I’m not a fan.

As I’ve said already, I don’t think it’s specific to a restaurant but a supply chain. Even if Taco Bell is one outlet, there are others. And my bet is still on lettuce.
BUT why isn’t anyone asking why there is human poop in the soil of farms. This can ONLY come from human feces that’s been festering in soil. Cyclospora outbreaks originate from human fecal contamination of water or the agricultural environment. The parasite matures in the environment and can contaminate fresh produce that’s eaten raw.

9:00 AM Sunrise is more insane than most people realize. That's 1.5 class periods into school before the sun even rises. 2 hours into most blue collar workdays. That extra hour of daylight (in cold winter when everyone is inside anyway) from 5-6p isn't worth it at all.

The U.S. House will vote this week on whether or not to make daylight saving time permanent. Essentially, we would not change the clocks again (no "falling back"). As I've mentioned over the years, below are 3 options and how they would look in Indianapolis, IN: current system, year-round daylight saving time & year-round standard time. Year-round daylight saving time would result in a 9:02 AM sunrise and 6:23 PM sunset on the winter solstice.

The most effective way to kill parasites is to soak your produce in a gallon of water with 1 tsp of bleach for 1-2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly for 30 seconds to a minute, and pat dry.
