@waynehhsiung The whole damn industry behind this #AnimalAbuse is cruel. To treat dogs in this way is disgusting & any caring. thinking person will feel ashamed of the human race for allowing this to happen. #Dogs may not have voices but we do!

The family of a retired police dog diagnosed with terminal cancer have written a bucket list of activities for his final few weeks.
Bane, who joined Cambridgeshire Police in 2018 before retiring in 2023, collapsed on Tuesday and was taken to see a vet.
His heart was found to have a tumour and fluid on it, which was drained by a specialist to give him a little extra time with his owners, who live in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
They want to take the nine-year-old, who was given six weeks to live, on a final holiday and to his favourite playing field, and treat him to some new toys.
Owner Carleigh-Jay Callaghan, 24, said: "Bane needs lots of rest and recovery time, as well as lots of cuddles in our bed.
"But we're also planning to make some special memories with him and tick some things off his bucket list."

We are heartbroken to share that K9 Lucas has passed away. His End of Watch was Saturday, March 14, 2026, surrounded by those who loved and adored him.
He was an amazing partner, and truthfully, I was just trying to keep up with him. I was the lucky one to be paired with him."
- Sgt. Magee
Run free, Lucas. Thank you for your service, your loyalty, and the joy you brought your department and community.
Twelve years was far too short.

I’ve written to every Member of Parliament today.
Proposals before Parliament would remove jury trials from offences carrying up to three years in prison.
Freedoms rarely vanish overnight. They are chipped away in the name of efficiency.
Juries did not cause the crisis in our courts. Removing them will not fix it.
When the state seeks to take someone’s liberty for serious offences, the judgment of ordinary citizens should never be optional.
This is close to becoming law.
Please read the letter. Contact your MP now.

We have a wonderful announcement.
It is with the most enormous pleasure we share with you today that Pete Wicks, a passionate advocate for all animals, has become our new Global Ambassador.
Pete is well known for his love of dogs, as well as his kindness, compassion, and his unique ability to articulate the profound bond between humans and animals.
His award-winning and record breaking TV show ‘For Dogs Sake’ (available to stream on U) shows his unrivalled dedication and empathy to these beautiful animals and we are delighted to have him hold such an important role for our ongoing work.
We know he will share our message, as well as our mission, on behalf of both serving and retired service animals from across the UK.
Pete said:

A very warm welcome to the NFRSA family.
RPD Viper has hung up his leash after serving for a whopping 7 years with @WMPolice and @WMPDogs.
Viper will be retiring to his handler who said:
‘My boy looked after me for 7 long years, he did everything I ever asked of him and more. Now it’s time for me to give him the retirement he deserves with cuddles on the sofa, and fun times with my children.’
We can’t think of a better way to spend a well deserved rest.
Thank you for your service RPD Viper - we’ll be here if you need us.

@uppergelli just back from an amazing break. Tranquil and secluded with luxury feel. Anyone looking for a peaceful spot with the pooch that’s fully fenced with no one passing apart from the pheasants don’t hesitate to book
