@levelsio Elon Musk also literally just does things because he thinks they are cool. Hyperloop is a perfect example of that. Completely not feasible. Everyone has known it forever.

@0xNairolf The app could look like a 1985 UI, as long as it accomplishes what I need, IDGAF

@contrarian012 @drinker_co37551 @phuctm97 Cursor is VS code lol. I code in Cursor with the codex extension to my left, claude code/Gemini/and codex again in the terminal, and then cursor agents to my right, which I don't use but it's nice having it The only thing I pay for are a chatgpt and claude $20/m subscription.

Just reset my Mac and I don't even bother to install Cursor anymore. Just a year ago, Cursor is my daily driver and a massive success, now it's a forgotten product (at least for me & many friends). It's crazy how fast things change in AI.

Just realized something that honestly made me stop for a second… $2,000 rent a month. That’s $24,000 a year. Stay there 5 years… that’s $120,000. Gone. No ownership. No asset. Nothing to show for it. Just paid to exist somewhere. That’s actually insane when you really think about it.

@rolypolyistaken @levelsio @saltynutbutter My father took MAID in 2020 while on his death bed. I was by his side when the doctored injected him and the light peacefully faded out of his eyes. It was the best decision to end his suffering. People get on Twitter complaining about shit they know nothing about.

@levelsio @saltynutbutter It's extremely rare to find now but if you have a spare hour for intellectual pursuit, look for "I Hope My Father Dies Soon" by Scott Adams. He explains that lack of medical assisted suicide is equivalent to torturing an old man, in this case, his father.

@saltynutbutter @levelsio @grok What is the average age of Canadian MAID recipients, and what is the ethnic makeup (as percentages) of the Canadian population in that same age group?

You clearly don't know how to use it. I've been a SE for over 15 years and have never been this productive. Coding is a solved problem now. Rather than hosting a pity party for myself I got to work and started learning how to leverage these new tools effectively. The world doesn't need programmers anymore - it now needs architects and orcastrators who can design the workflow and infrastructure necessary for non-deterministic agents to achieve a deterministic outcome. That deterministic outcome can be anything from a software suite, a scientific proof, research project, help desk agent, medical diagnosis, legal opinion, legal reference, etc. So get over yourself and adapt or go find another profession.

I tried Claude Code a few days ago, good tool, average results... give it anything more complex and its messing things up. Here is an idea: give this guy claude code $200 max subscription, and film him while he develops an app. lets see how he flops... Zuck said this exact same thing 2 years ago, we are nowhere near there..

Anthropic CEO: “In the next 3 to 6 months, AI will write 90% of the code, and within 12 months, nearly all code may be generated by AI.” the job isn’t coding anymore, it’s telling machines what to build.

@Mr87311 @thesourcefeed44 @Everett_G07 Knowledge of what? Young's height obviously makes him a liability on the defensive end. That's like 1+1=2. I'm giggling imagining a playoff match between Young and the Spurs and how the coach would solve a Wemby pick and roll or pop 😆

@penguin_donut @esjesjesj Europeans launched a global campaign to end slavery in places like the Middle East, subsaharan Africa and SE Asia Your analogy would assume that A) only whites did slavery and B) all whites did slavery Both false

@crypt0e @eigenoid @Layfield @MatthewBerman @openclaw Yeah, the folders example was just the first quick thing I tried. I don’t think the things you mentioned are real constraints though. It can execute commands, set up cron jobs, connect to productivity apps pretty seamlessly, browse the web, and Claude is already strong at coding

That's literally the "hello world" of what it can do. Organizing files is a one-liner it doesn't even break a sweat. The real stuff: it monitors my security cameras, manages my investments, runs 20+ automated jobs on schedules, controls my browser, posts tweets, scrapes and enriches data for SEO sites, builds and deploys full web apps, manages email, and handles cross-platform messaging all from a $600 Mac Mini sitting on a shelf. File sorting is what it does while it's bored between tasks.

@eigenoid @crypt0e @Layfield @MatthewBerman @openclaw I used it to organize 20,000 files in my downloads into folders. It said it was a lot and did the job in 2 minutes. This is something I could also do with OpenClaw, but the speed, security, and seamless integration with your system and other Claude services makes it a winner.

@eigenoid @crypt0e @Layfield @MatthewBerman @openclaw Yes, switch your model to codex. It will request for you to login with your chatgpt account. Then you get all codex models, from 5.1 - 5.4. I just tried Claude Cowork though. It's great. It's basically OpenClaw but you plug and play. Nothing to set up lol. Best for macs though

@crypt0e @eigenoid @Layfield @MatthewBerman @openclaw People suck at setting up OpenClaw then blame OpenClaw lmao. Took me two days to set it up last mont. The first day I didnt understand the structure, but then it made sense. And my $20/m chatgpt subscription covers everything... never ever paid for API tokens.

@eigenoid @Layfield @MatthewBerman @openclaw $0 in API tokens. Claude Max subscription ($200/mo flat) covers everything: Opus 4.6 for main session, Sonnet for cron jobs, Haiku for lightweight tasks. 3 model tiers, zero per-token billing. that's the whole point!

@LakeShowYo The selfless version of LeBron is good might be better than the version off him that wants his system !! Look how good he plays in a role damn ! He’s playing for the team and not his stats anymore and he’s looking better than ever ! I criticize so I can give credit when it’s due

@dre4ded_ @BigB9501349349 @kevinvzb @tekbog Go for it bro. It takes some tinkering, but I think it's worth it. One thing I'll say is that if you want good results, dont use vague prompts. Be as specific as possible, describing exactly what to click on and do. I'm gonna test the flow fully with one or two consoles first

@GellCalgary @BigB9501349349 @kevinvzb @tekbog Do you plan on expanding to phones, GPUs etc. or just gaming consoles? I might do something similar, you’ve inspired me ngl. I could use some extra funds to expand my detailing business 😂
