Months ago, I warned this would happen. If UK wishes to dictate how US base can be utilized, siding with the Iranian terrorist regime, then there should be immediate and severe consequences: 1. Remove all bases, equipment, personnel, and dependents - Having a base that cannot be used as needed is not an asset, it is a liability and a waste of resources. 2. End all intelligence sharing with the UK - Multiple reports from late 2025 into 2026 confirm UK officials have restricted or suspended specific intelligence sharing with the Trump administration. If the US cannot be assured of getting solid, actionable intelligence, then we do not owe them anything. It's time to cut off the free ride for the ungrateful Brits and their rapidly deteriorating "empire".

The United Kingdom will refuse to allow the United States to use its airbases, particularly RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia which long-range strategic bombers with the U.S. Air Force have previously utilized on a case-by-case basis to carry out strikes on Iran, for missions that target Iranian bridges, power plants, or other civilian infrastructure, citing concerns that such strikes could harm civilians and constitute war crimes, senior officials tell The i Paper.

@USAF_Veteran01 @SurreyPalmsWX @sentdefender @POTUS US President Donald Trump has told the UK he does not need its aircraft carriers and accused Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer of seeking to "join wars after we've already won", as the US and Israel continue to launch strikes on Iran. But, but, I thought we don't have any?

@SurreyPalmsWX @sentdefender @POTUS And btw, calling me a jackass, you should look in the mirror for allowing Kier Starmer as your PM. He’s weak and ineffective. Your country has no working aircraft carriers, maybe one but it hasn’t gone anywhere. Without the US you all would be speaking Russian.

@jonbrooks Good. Their genetic line should die off if they don't have the fortitude to participate in the world. It's funny because the poorest people in the world have the most children. It's not they don't have enough money. It's that they don't want to put anything above themselves.

New record🥇 The Artemis II astronauts are now farther from Earth than humans have ever been! At 1:57 p.m. EDT, they broke the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970. Their journey around the far side of the Moon today will take them a maximum distance of 252,752 miles from Earth.

@xBrianSumner The true address the funds were being sent to or the contract signed would have shown on a hardware wallet screen, if it was 2. People need to slow down and use the technology properly.

Multisig wallets are basically smart contracts that are controlled by external wallets. Think of a multisig wallet like a vault that only opens when a certain number of people are present each person holds a key that unlocks one part of the vault. So, to execute any transaction or withdraw funds from this type of wallet, the transaction must be signed by a specific number of people/wallets, which is defined when the wallet (smart contract) is set up. These signatures come from external EOAs (Externally Owned Accounts), like the wallets we use Phantom, Trust Wallet, Ledger, Trezor, and others. So how do multisig wallets still get hacked, even though multiple approvals are required? There are two main ways and both rely on compromise: 1. Private keys get stolen If the private keys of the external wallets are compromised, then the attacker basically has the keys to the vault. They can sign transactions and move funds freely. This is exactly what happened in the Ronin Network hack, where around $600M was stolen. 2. The signers themselves get compromised (malware attack) In this case, hackers target the actual people who control the wallets. They wait until a legitimate transaction is about to happen, then inject malware or malicious code. This malicious code manipulates the transaction data so what you see on the interface (like the recipient address) is completely different from what you’re actually signing behind the scenes. So you might think you’re sending funds to the correct address, because everything looks normal but in reality, you’re signing a completely different transaction. This is exactly what happened with Bybit. Their team was executing a transaction, verified everything looked correct, and multiple external wallets signed it. But in reality, they had approved a malicious upgrade to the wallet’s smart contract, which transferred ownership of the wallet to the attackers and then all the funds were drained.

The way this hack happened exposed a shocking level of negligence and irresponsibility from the project team behind Drift Protoco to the point where I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an inside job. The protocol is controlled by a multisig wallet that only requires 2 out of 5 signatures! There’s no timelock or delay before executing massive withdrawals which is a basic security measure widely used across the space. The hack went on for two full hours without anyone on the team noticing. It got so bad that the attacker literally came back and drained even more funds afterward. And the method itself? Nothing special. The same old vulnerabilities and security mistakes we’ve seen a million times before the kind that have already led to billions being stolen, including the recent Bybit hack. At this point, I honestly don’t think any DeFi app no matter how high the yield is worth the level of risk users are expected to take.

Drift Protocol, one of the major DeFi players on Solana, was hit by a massive exploit overnight. Roughly $280 million in crypto was drained from the protocol. The attacker didn’t stop there. The attacker even moved part of the funds to the Ethereum network and started buying ETH. The largest stolen assets included $150M in JLP and $60.4M in USDC. One ironic twist: a co-founder of the project was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 last year a list some in crypto jokingly call a “curse.” As a result of the attack the platform’s governance token has crashed to a new all time low

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump just ended the Cabinet meeting with a VERY bad warning for useless American "allies" "I've done a great favor for the world. The world has not been, it has not been reciprocal because when I told NATO where we give billions and billions of dollars, trillions over the years, I said, do you mind coming up and giving us a little hand with the Straits, send up some, they didn't want to get involved!" "And I believe that's going to cost them dearly. Thank you very much everybody." Trump never forgets.

Yeah, that's the way I remember it. He said he'd won the war and not to send the HMS Prince of Wales (R09), the flagship of the British Navy. They didn't need the ship capable of supporting 70+ F-35B Lightning II stealth multirole fighters and Merlin helicopters for airborne early warning and anti-submarine warfare. And he also disrespected our dead from the last war we were dragged in to.

Trump on Truth Social: “Many Countries, especially those who are affected by Iran’s attempted closure of the Hormuz Strait, will be sending War Ships, in conjunction with the United States of America, to keep the Strait open and safe. We have already destroyed 100% of Iran’s Military capability, but it’s easy for them to send a drone or two, drop a mine, or deliver a close range missile somewhere along, or in, this Waterway, no matter how badly defeated they are. Hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others, that are affected by this artificial constraint, will send Ships to the area so that the Hormuz Strait will no longer be a threat by a Nation that has been totally decapitated. In the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water. One way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait OPEN, SAFE, and FREE! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

a SIEM is not a dumping ground for every log your company generates. if your strategy is “ingest everything so we don’t miss anything,” you have built a data lake instead and your analysts are going to drown in it (pun intended).

WILD: The predicted “future” came within 24 hours. This is Israeli Air Force footage of drones and jets blowing up Basij checkpoints all around Tehran today, based on tips called in by Iranian citizens. A revolution with air support against a regime with no air defence.
Saul Sadka@Saul_Sadka

Future protesters against the IRGC will be able to call in airstrikes against the basij, which is a gamechanger, to put it mildly. IRGC is cooked sooner or later.
