The problem with Starfield is that you can't just ignore the main story. You are literally forced to play it in the early game. You have to go to constellation and join them before you tell the main story to f off. Even then, you're still limited in certain ways because freedom of choice in this game is an illusion.

One of the most important things a player can do in a Bethesda game is to ignore the main quest for as long as possible. At least in one playthrough.

@HiddenPowerPod Nope ! All the hate is completely justified! We have FRLG which were the first remakes, they're kinda similar to BDSP in not being that different from the original. HGSS and ORAS put the remake bar so fucking high that BDSP had no chance cus it being too faithful

@TooLateBlue @ZenkaiGoose Part of the reason the ps3 was so expensive at launch was because in order to achieve backwards compatibility they had to build a fully functional ps2 into it

@ZenkaiGoose The PS5 could easily support backward compatibility for PS2 discs, but there's no money in it for Sony. They released the PS3 60GB which could play all Playstation games, and that was honest to God the last real gamer-centric decision the company ever made.

Hot take. Game Consoles should be able to play EVERY game from their predecessor consoles. I dont care the cost, or how you do it. I should be able to put ANY PS1 disc in a PS5 and it should just work. PERIOD. Am I right or wrong?
