You’re dead right. A union that tries to stop filming, then hands the official recording over to one group to edit, and still hasn’t released it after nearly a month is not acting in good faith. Delaying the footage while allowing selective editing raises the obvious question of what they’re trying to scrub or control. Australia’s manufacturing base has been hollowed out for too long, and rebuilding local workshops, engineering capacity and production of components is essential for real jobs, stronger regional towns and genuine national self-reliance. Dropping the costly net-zero targets would cut energy prices and regulatory burdens that make local production uncompetitive, giving Australian industry a fighting chance to make, build and fix things again instead of relying on overseas suppliers.
