THIS is how it should be done 👏 Meridian made a clear choice: NO palm oil. Ever. 👉 This is the kind of product that deserves to be in your trolley 👉 Leave the palm oil ones on the shelf Support the brands that say #NoPalmOil #readlabels

@InclusiveBuild @NLC_2019 The consultation findings are worth a read if not done so already. Some interesting and consistent views but, and a big but, is whether the Gov support the needs of the LH or, side with FH’s and investors.

Leasehold. The cost of replacing a small ashfelt strip roughly half a metre by a metre and a half from managing agents, £3600. Quote from the same company 4 months earlier by a resident £1190. The managing agent has now decided it doesn't need replacing after being advised.

Two-thirds of English councils have not prosecuted a single landlord in past three years. Councils prosecuted just 64 landlords despite receiving 300,000 complaints from tenants in unfit homes theguardian.com/money/2025/nov…

I firmly believe that living in the #UK is becoming unsustainable for many. It’s a bankrupt country. There are too-few people to haul the heavy locomotive and quite frankly I’m fed up of being one of those people. Something has got to change. #CouncilTax #Tax

@lukejcr It may actually knock some sense into the management of the NHS in that it is not an ever ending stream of money. A health insurance (HI) policy may (if regulated properly) be more beneficial with a government subsidy to offset those that can’t afford HI based on earnings.

So there we have it. Reform REFUSING TO RULE OUT a social insurance model for the NHS. That means under Reform, your healthcare could stop being a right and start becoming a risk. That is deeply, deeply concerning. Reform cannot be trusted.
Farrukh@implausibleblog

Reform UK's James Orr says the NHS will be free at the point of use What he doesn't tell you is that Nigel Farage has advocated for an insurance based NHS That means, as the UK taxpayer will pay more for the same services, even if the NHS is 'free at the point of use' When Fiona Bruce asks him to explain this, he waffles Exposed and humiliated on #BBCQT

A section 21 rears it's ugly head despite Sadiq Khan and the government official line of opposing no fault evictions. 'We’re being evicted so a council can use our Richmond homes as temporary accommodation' Pity. A lovely 60's block. It looked an idyllic way to spend your retirement with Kew gardens opposite. mylondon.news/news/west-lond…

In 1809 Joseph Bourne found some clay in Derbyshire and began to make pots. He prospered and the name of “Bourne Denby” became famous. The very same clay still make @denbypottery today. Isn’t that alone worth saving? Sustainable since 1809. #savedenby
