Επειδή δεν υπάρχει η παραμικρή σκιά, απαντώ ο ίδιος στο δημοσίευμα. NVIDIA’s N1X could finally give the company the pieces needed for a more complete laptop platform: Arm CPU cores, Blackwell GPU, and a shared LPDDR5X memory architecture. The one major piece it still lacks compared to Apple is its own operating system, meaning it will continue to rely on Windows.

Why did every carmaker suddenly abandon their long history and iconic styling cues for no apparent reason in the last 5 years?

@Velion Desync in Arena feels like 3x normal Tarkov for some reason. I am seeing the respawn screen before I even see the guy swing around the corner

I really don't understand how people enjoy Tarkov Arena... The hit reg is dog shit , the audio is dogshit and the desync is dogshit... How does one play arena? I can only play 2 games before I mald off because 4 dudes run around a corner and 0 of them make any audio. Whoever plays arena all the time has some serious gaming skills to play such a shit game.

@christitustech This is mostly a GPU benchmark though. At 1440 a 9060xt is amost always 100% GPU limited

@vaxryy I think if we are testing cpus 9060xt at 1440p makes it a gpu benchmark

in the vast majority of cases yes you dont need a custom kernel, most patches just move problems around. A custom kernel will not magically give you more cpu.

@theo For something fast, I will probably use cli, but for any work that I will probably need to jump between threads I will use desktop apps. CLI has this simplicity feeling but its clunky.

@Doc72_ Native Valve Source games, including Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Team Fortress 2 (TF2), Dota 2, and Counter-Strike: Source, often experience VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) auth errors or server kicks when forced to run via Proton instead of their native Linux binaries.

Valve could do the funniest shit rn to make Epic look worse by simply updating their 32 bit old games to 64 bit and making proton work with VAC.

The Verge has lost its way. Several months ago, they interviewed me for 45 minutes about Apple Vision Pro. I spent 43 minutes talking about what I love, and 2 minutes on what I’d change. They twisted parts of those 2 minutes and cut everything positive I said. To make it worse, the author opened the interview by saying they were biased against headsets. I miss the old Verge. The one that was fun. The one that spotlighted tech instead of throwing shade.

@seyerstudios @SnazzyLabs @justinryanio The reason we got dlss 2 is because Nvidia actually listened and vastly changed how dlss works. Dlss 1.0 was awful and was rightly criticized. Dlss 2 was a giant leap and was praised. If something is bad it deserves criticism.

@SnazzyLabs @justinryanio i remember people trashing dlss 1.0 like it was the worst thing ever to think about “upscaling” a game and not adding raw performance to gpus and instead rendering it at 720p if nvidia listened to the backseat gamer back then we wouldnt be where we are now with dlss 4.5

DLSS5 makes this look like an AI generated dating profile picture used to scam an old person in another country. Just looks like every other AI generated image of a "person." No character or soul to it. Art loses what makes it impressive when it all looks like generated slop.
