This Taliban cleric claims in his sermon that the only thing a woman should learn is obedience to her husband. He suggests that a woman is safe only within the confines of her home or in her grave, and argues that she becomes a nuisance if she pursues Islamic scholarship.
By this logic, the ideal woman is one who is completely denied education and kept entirely illiterate.
