@MattWalshBlog I watch you everyday, and your claims are illegitimate. We’ve been more successful in Iran in less than a month than we were in Iraq for our entire tenure. We’ve destroyed every formal facet of military resistance apart from a few drone sites. This is already a victory.

Some of us expressed great concern about the Iran War when it was first launched. We were shouted down and condemned as “panicans” and “blackpillers” and even Islamist sympathizers. But it’s pretty clear from how things have gone that our concerns were absolutely reasonable and legitimate. Maybe Trump will get us out of this thing soon and it still won’t spiral into a long and drawn out war. But even if that happens — and I’m not convinced it will — no thoughtful person can deny at this point that the spiral and long war scenario is very much a possibility. No reasonable person, at this stage, can say that our concerns were irrational. What looks irrational now — and always did — is the demand for blind allegiance and unthinking “trust” in our elected leaders, as though we are called to have faith in politicians like we have faith in God.

Flying back from Naples on @SouthwestAir with twins and a toddler. We booked well in advance and chose our seats. SWA has—without notice—changed our seats. As a result, we are now separated on this flight. We already have to sit in separate rows with the twins, but we need to be in consecutive rows because we have ONE diaper bag with bottles, etc. I preferred open seating, but if SWA wants to force assigned seats, it can’t just move us around.

Rebellion in our home. Some of the kids are claiming that I force them to watch this every year and it’s “boring.” Sounds like we need to increase the viewings to three times a year until morale improves.

Property tax is literally the only tax that makes intuitive sense. A local tax based on the property you choose to live on that goes toward things such as roads, police, fire departments, etc. that are amenities directly connected to that particular property. Meanwhile, the federal government just sends your federal income tax dollars to fund Israel and gay pride parties at the Department of Labor. Of all the taxes, property tax is the least retarded and I’m tired of hearing boomers complain about it.
