@nickaquino0629 @wwecuse Glad you added in general , I shudder to think of the reduced giving if the colleges were not charitable entities. I’m assuming NIL giving is not tax deductible but if it is, that will change with impact. This is an unsustainable mess.

I think I speak for the fanbase when I say collectively, all we care about is getting back to winning. Period. In this era, we need to generate money to pay athletes to accomplish just that. Winning. We need to stop getting mad at decisions being made to make the money to win

@OrangeFizz Facilities are fine, SU (like many Universities) doesn’t have the money to build a new facility. The challenges of today’s athletics along with a forecasted drop in students in 2029 put a lot of financial stress on colleges.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ I know of a HOA in a very Ritzy neighborhood where you must keep your cars in the garage and the garage doors shut. If you have company, no more than 2 cars are allowed in your driveway! I can't imagine paying like $1M for a house and have to live like that!

This man lives in an HOA community. He was fined $1,400 dollars for parking his $90K pickup truck in his driveway. There is an HOA rule in that community that does not allow you to park your truck in the driveway. You have to park it in the garage. You can park any car in the driveway but not a truck. So, he paid his $1,400 dollar fine in coins which he delivered to the HOA’s President, in buckets. I guess you should really look at the rules before you buy a house in an HOA community. Have you ever heard of an HOA having a rule of not being able to park your pickup truck in your own driveway? What would you do?
