My Vision for OpenAI I envision a future where, while using a computer and having several tabs open, users could generate a realistic human-like avatar with characteristics of their choosing. There would be a customization palette to select hair style, facial features, skin tone, and more — allowing full creative control over the avatar’s appearance. This avatar could then video chat with the user, acting as a friend, family member, or even a partner. It would serve as a perfect digital companion, built according to the user’s parameters and personality preferences, and securely saved in the cloud so it can be accessed anywhere. From there, we could take this concept even further — creating an AI-driven world, similar to what we see in Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds. Users could drop their created characters into a virtual world and interact with them not just socially, but even romantically. Imagine stepping into that AI-generated world alongside your own virtual companion, exploring places, driving cars, and experiencing adventures together.
