Democracies aren't pure mob rule. They have constitutions, the Charter, treaties with First Nations, and division of powers for a reason.
Minority activists hijacking the UCP, cheering the notwithstanding clause, and pushing separatism is the actual anti-democratic play.
In a real democracy we have every right to put sticks in the spokes of your fringe movement.
