I speculate their timing of the release was meant to be a media distraction from many other big issues happening in New York State…especially since every other day a Hochul aid is in trouble for fraud…but I digress. They were able to get their “word of the day” - HOMICIDE. But somehow… - They can’t release or discuss the toxicology report - They won’t release the extensive security footage from around KeyBank Center, where Mr. Alam was found…an area that has more security cameras than any other part of the city. - They can’t account for his whereabouts during those five days in between his release and his death. - No comment on how he traveled 6.5 miles from his initial drop off point. - No comment about how or why the family posted his bail but then didn’t know where he was and didn’t tell him that they moved. “Here’s your bail money…by the way we moved”.
