Just months ago, I shook hands with @DiogoJota18. That moment stayed with me. The news today broke my heart. Back in March, I visited Liverpool FC’s training base to demo our device. I met Diogo Jota through his doctor Jon — he’s the only player I shook hands with. He was warm, patient, and kind, even though he was rushing to training. It was just a day after their away match against PSG in Paris — most of the squad had taken the day off to rest, but he showed up early, focused. That brief interaction stuck with me. Just hours ago today, I learned that he passed away in Spain in an accident at age 28 — in the prime of his $50M Liverpool contract… It hit hard. And it reminded me how much time we spend stressed — over deadlines, customer feedback, team drama, and so much more. It can all feel like life or death… until real life and death puts everything into perspective. As someone who runs a 300 ppl community, I just wanted to share this: be kind. Check in on your cofounder. Message that friend you’ve been meaning to. Tell someone you care. We spend so much time building the future, we forget to appreciate the people building it with us. Breaking news - we might have a way to prevent the ACL torn that @KyrieIrving just went through. Our latest airbag knee sleeve tests showed a nearly 5° reduction in valgus angle - 12° is a standard ACL tear threshold. That’s a 42% improvement in reducing injury.
