Alright, please hold while I mentally prepare to get jumped in the replies and QRTs for these 4. *taps mic* FF7 is a story about fighting for those who can't defend themselves and your impact on the world, as well as the very real impact of grief in all its forms. Sephiroth wasn't always a villain, instead he was an incredibly well done portrayal of a hero's downfall. Cloud is mentally and psychologically an absolute hot mess, and is held together by Tifa and his friends. Dude doesn't even fully connect with the reality of who he is because he's so traumatized before FF7 starts. Aerith's ending, while sad, was a critical point in the story for its core messaging, and I hope they stick with it in the final part of the remake series.

@The5thFlavorIRL correctly, or how to wiggle out of tumble at the right times, or any number of things due to the interactive nature of the game. A lot of times people just find the shit that works just doesn't anymore and they can't comprehend why.

@The5thFlavorIRL One of the the revelations I had over the past couple of years is that Smash is different in how you have to learn the game at a higher level. When you play against people often times you end up learning the wrong lessons because people don't understand how to DI out of things...

The real problem is that experience against mid level players is basically worthless it's not gonna prepare you for people with niche MU strategy so if you don't actively seek out good players you're kind of just treading water.
