One TERF complained that, theoretically, a trans person could take part in this course. As a result, the entire course has been shut down. Just another example of transphobia harming women

@JournalistJill It was actually listening to Woman's Hour interviewing @Docstockk that peaked me. I was like - hold on she was bullied out of her job and you're treating her like she's the bad guy. I have never been the same person since.

The latest Woman's Hour debacle...can you think of any more examples of them trolling women with TRAs...can think of Steph and the endo charity and Nuala apologising for calling RMW 'he' at one point...any others?

I’ve written to every Member of Parliament today. Proposals before Parliament would remove jury trials from offences carrying up to three years in prison. Freedoms rarely vanish overnight. They are chipped away in the name of efficiency. Juries did not cause the crisis in our courts. Removing them will not fix it. When the state seeks to take someone’s liberty for serious offences, the judgment of ordinary citizens should never be optional. This is close to becoming law. Please read the letter. @MadelaineLucyH I’m nearly 50 and my high school male teachers - so, 35 years ago? - deliberately kept doors and lines of sight open. It’s normal.

I was at uni during the height of MeToo. I remember going to a male professor out of hours for research on a lab study. I noticed he opened his office door, propped it open, and went back to his desk. I asked him why he did that. “accusations from female students,” he said. Which is what I think a lot of men really took away from MeToo, not how women are actually being treated.
