@British_Airways I have had the most terrible experience with British Airways support staff . Following the cancellation of my flight back to the UK from Brisbane I have been trying to connect with the airline to give me an alternative route home but they are refusing to help

Fuuuckkk! Was about to go to sleep an hour ago, got woken up by a notification from @qatarairways informing me that our flight to Manchester had been cancelled. No email, no call, nothing. After 40 minutes on the phone with them, and after them casually telling me the next flight to Manchester was on the 24th!!!, finally got a flight to Heathrow. I’m reluctant to book the shuttle flights from Heathrow to Manchester at 9pm because I really doubt I’m going to actually arrive in the UK at all tomorrow. That means I’m probably going to have to book one or more hotels in Doha and London before getting a taxi or the shuttle flight. A cancellation within 12 hours and only a notification via the app, I’d really, really bad form.
