If expansion must happen (I'd prefer relocation personally) then Seattle is a no-brainer. But there are lots of markets that make a lot more sense to me than Las Vegas.

@OhSaroast @NateDuncanNBA @okayed Cities like Memphis and New Orleans frankly don’t need NBA teams. Their fan base is cannot and don’t want to support them, especially the pelicans where some nights you’ll see under 1000 people in that cavernous 17,000 seat arena.

@okayed @NateDuncanNBA Avtually, if you look at a city like New Orleans, which personally I love, they literally have no Pelicans fans. Nobody goes to @PelicansNBA games. They draw under 2000 people/game, and that is being generous. Relocating them would not hurt anybody.

@NateDuncanNBA Wanting to take a franchise away from a community is terrible for those fans and very negatively impactful socioeconomically the city.
There is so much talent in the league and overseas right now that expansion is very warranted, so it's not even practically justifiable.

@Horowitz_JeffA I'm not looking into every single count. I'm focused on count 2. I have no idea how 12 people could have determined that it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt. There is no address. There are no photos. There are no messages. Nada. Zilch. Nothing. I don't get it.

During the trial, the US GOVERNMENT STIPULATED (Defense Exhibit DX-6, signed by the prosecutors themselves) that official CBP/DHS records prove Erik Yehezkel departed the United States on British Airways flight 208 on May 25, 2011 — and didn’t return until June 4, 2011 on flight 209.
Memorial Day weekend 2011 (May 28–30) was right in the middle of that period. He was definitively not in the country.
By agreeing to this, the prosecutors essentially called Lindsey Acree a liar — she swore under oath that Erik Yehezkel (“John Doe”) trafficked and raped her with Tal Alexander that very weekend in the Hamptons.
How was Tal convicted on this count?

Lindsey Acree alleges, under oath, that she was trafficked and then raped by Tal Alexander and Erik Yehezkel (the John Doe) on Memorial Day weekend of 2011. Erik Yehezkel has tickets that prove he was not in the continental United States on Memorial Day weekend of 2011. Can somebody please explain to me how it is possible that Erik Yehezkel could be out of the country on Memorial Day weekend 2011 and simultaneously commit this crime in the Hamptons on Memorial Day weekend 2011? How did a jury find Tal Alexander guilty of this crime given the fact that his alleged co-conspirator in this action was not in the country? I simply do not understand.

I agree with you - this conviction will most likely be vacated, but that’s 3-4 years down the road. You’re going to make yourself sick advocating everyday until the verdict gets overturned is all I’m saying.

And that’s not all — Tal Alexander also didn’t have a rental house in the Hamptons that Memorial Day weekend.
Erik was definitively out of the country (per the government’s own stipulation)… and Tal had no property there.
So where exactly was this alleged trafficking and rape of Lindsey Acree supposed to have happened??
The whole story on this count is beyond insane. How was Tal convicted?
