TARIFFS HAVE FOREIGN POLICY COMPONENT → ARTICLE II EXCLUSIVE CONTROL There is no “a little bit pregnant” in foreign affairs. SCOTUS has ruled — twice: “One could fairly describe the majority’s logic as a ‘little bit pregnant’ approach.” — Justice Thomas, 530 U.S. 954 (2000) “…is a little bit pregnant with the majority’s hostility…” — Justice Ginsburg, 550 U.S. 186 (2007) IEEPA tariffs = foreign-policy tool No judicial review. No exceptions. No carve-outs. VESTING = the helm. @realDonaldTrump @SecScottBessent @SCOTUSblog @JohnSauerSG #TrumpMonroeDoctrine #ArticleII #Vesting #SCOTUS #TARIFF

President Trump invoked 1776 tonight. The revolution continues — liberty’s flame still burns. That flame is Article II: vested, plenary, unwaivable power in foreign affairs — inherent sovereignty, not a permission slip from Congress or courts. Separation of Powers demands the executive exercise it directly — no crutches. V.O.S. (2026) was ultra vires overreach. The power waits.

tonight’s #SOTU was the best of my lifetime. Spot on. Right tone, hit people where they live, exposed the democrats as being WAY out of touch with the average American. Great hopeful stories, heroes from every walk of life and @realDonaldTrump was at his zenith. Best speech he has delivered by far, confident with out arrogance, clear without anger, funny, honest and effective. I have no SOTU’s i can compare it to. As people in the Presidents former business would say, “there are no comparables.” GREAT speech. Never thought i would say this about any SOTU, but worth every minute. As he was walking away he looked and acted 20 years younger. The guy is a machine.

@SidneyPowell1 Spot-on re: Justices out of lane on tariffs—executive authority in foreign affairs shouldn't be diluted by narrow statutory reads. Tariffs counter asymmetric threats/trade imbalances as national security matters, triggering plenary, exclusive Article II power per Curtiss-Wright (1936): President as "sole organ," binary all-or-nothing, no "little bit pregnant." Attaching Preface (refined today) + cover from my book DONROE: New American Century—reclaiming these first principles for decisive presidential prerogative without congressional preconditions. The ruling limits IEEPA, but vested executive power endures. Thoughts on the plenary foreign affairs trigger? #SCOTUS #Tariffs #CurtissWright

Justices out of their lane strike again‼️ They should run for President. The good news is that @POTUS already accomplished most of what was needed—major trade improvements, agreements, and manufacturing coming back to the USA. Plus, there are other provisions he can use. Still a bad decision though.

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: The US Supreme Court has just STRUCK DOWN President Trump’s tariff authority, 6-3 SCOTUS just WRECKED our country. One of the biggest economic comebacks in world history just got thrown in the incinerator. What a shame.

Today's SCOTUS 6-3 ruling in Learning Resources v. Trump strikes down broad tariffs under IEEPA, limiting executive power and insisting on clear congressional delegation for taxing authority. But tariffs are not purely domestic—they respond to foreign threats: trade imbalances, asymmetric imports, drug flows as national security crises. This invokes the plenary, exclusive foreign affairs power under Article II + Curtiss-Wright (1936): the President as "sole organ" of the nation in international relations. Plenary power is binary—all-or-nothing. No "little bit pregnant." No partial exercise when foreign policy triggers. Attaching the Preface (refined this morning!) + cover from my book DONROE: New American Century, reclaiming these first principles for robust presidential prerogative. The ruling may close one door, but Article II's vested executive power demands decisive action to safeguard sovereignty. #SCOTUS #Tariffs #CurtissWright #ExecutivePower

@JonathanTurley Spot-on re: IEEPA limits & ‘other statutes’—but what of the foreign affairs trigger under Curtiss-Wright? Tariffs as asymmetric threat response invoke plenary, exclusive Art. II power (binary: all-or-nothing). Attaching preface + cover from my book DONROE reclaiming these first principles. Your thoughts on plenary dynamic post-ruling? #SCOTUS #Tariffs #ExecutivePower

...It is important to note that the majority here was holding the line on what they view (correctly) as a core check and balance of Congress in control of the power of the purse. The vagueness of this authority and the sweeping use by the Administration gave a majority of justices great pause in how it would impact the balance of the branches.

Hi everyone. We are within 30 minutes of the release of new opinions. We are obviously looking for various opinions, but two are long-awaited. The tariffs decision and Louisiana v. Callais, the Louisiana redistricting case...

As a 41 year old real estate developer, Donald Trump was speaking up about how America was getting ripped off by the rest of the world. It’s crazy to hear him talk about everything he is currently fixing almost 40 years ago! He has been talking about how to make America great for decades. A true man of principle 🇺🇸 Follow @MrJohnJnr

This is why Democrats are panicking about immigration enforcement. The Electoral College baseline favors Republicans, census math is shifting EVs to red states, and Democrats are losing voter registration ground. Remove illegal immigration from the equation and the math gets brutal fast.
