I’ve booked countless trips through @Hotwire including one next month with my brother-in-law who died unexpectedly on Tuesday. This is how long I waited on hold today before being disconnected. 1 hour & 18 minutes and then it just hung up. Unacceptable.
@Hotwire I am now 84 mins into my support call to change my flight tickets and no resolution, still waiting for a supervisor to help since the last 30 mins and no contact

I reserved a car with @thriftycars via @Hotwire for Puerto Vallarta, PVR, Mexico for last week, $450 USD.When I arrived I was told by the Thrifty agents that they didn’t have any cars,but that they had a Jeep I could have for $880.An ADDITIONAL $880, no discount/apology or help!

@Hotwire spent an hour, 20 transfers (sometimes circular) & that horrid muzak trying to get a res cancelled (within the window). Website has a bug that wouldn't allow it and it didn't even show up in the app. I'm a hotwire user/fan but this was a damn nightmare. Please do better.

Booked 5 nights at @DaysInn Goose Creek via @Hotwire ($457). Showed up late → marked no-show → lost full payment. Still had to pay $198 more. Ended up $655 for 2 nights.
Love both brands—just asking for a fair partial refund. Screenshots ready.
