@VanIsleInvestor Seems like the prudent thing to do. Prefer $BCE over $T but will review/consider buy position if Telus cuts dividend. $HR.UN and $REI.UN became much more attractive investments imo after they cut dividend during covid. 50-60%~ payout ratio is comfortable

Ross Healy on YouTube giving a briefing on $T Telus Ross said he believes the dividend cut will be 50% to get to a remotely reasonable payout ratio. The dividend payout is $1.67 yet they only earned $1.06 The example he used is $NPI Northland power dropping 28% after the dividend cut and still dropping. @cabenX My view coming from Tradfi, if you ignore the token price (whole market down). The dividends/airdrops for holding +5k skaito have been very generous given the amount of time.

somehow this blew up and got a lot of hate from it (also some positive feedbacks) this is the first time I'm getting this type of feedback from my content so here is what I learned and some thoughts around it 0/ you can't expect people to understand your exact thoughts through a post on X, this was my biggest "mistake" i think, everyone will read the same words, but nobody will understand it the same way 1/ some people will turn your words against you on what "shock" them, apparently calling Kaito "one of the worst farmable InfoFi ecosystem" was too much or maybe it was because I said that I was focusing on Cookie & Xeet after criticizing Kaito on all angles, in either case I stand by it because it's my genuine feedback (= which is why this post got that much attention and hate, I wrote my thoughts, not what people wanted to hear) 2/ some people will only focus on what got their attention, and completely ignore the rest of your take 3/ a lot of people reacted to this post without having the contest of my overall content I put here since months, I did share similar takes about all InfoFi platforms (because they are ALL being farmed) multiple times and criticized them all without exception 4/ some debates emerged from that post which is a really good point and had really interesting conversations with people that completely disagreed with my takes, with respect on both side!! (yes it's possible) 5/ sharing your real feedback about something has repercussions, when you stay quiet which I did for a long time, it's comfy, everybody likes you but when you open your mouth, it's more chaotic but that's how you can have a real impact on what you truly like 6/ imo, InfoFi is a wonderful opportunity for everyone and I'm just tired that farmers using non-organic tactics steals money away from real content creators that works hours everyday, i don't care about which platform it is, what I want is a platform where I and other creators can go and compete against each other with meaningful rules in place, without cheaters in the blend and that the most impactful creator gets rewarded.if that's not the case, i'm not a fan of your product yet, that's all 7/ a lot of people called me a farmer, called me words, if there were no argument attached (which is the case most of the time, not a surprise lol), it didn't really impact me, I often ignore or when it came from someone I respected I tried to understand why (ps: I played League of Legends for 10 years, you will have an hard time trying to rage-bait me) 8/ a lot of people thought this was a paid post?? I still really don't understand why but heard a lot of "this must be a FUD paid post" well without any surprise it's not, I just shared my experience and thoughts around Kaito as a content creator, nothing more 9/ about Cookie, I did placed it into one of my InfoFi tier-list on one of the worst tier some months ago but since then their algorithm got way better, their boards are more natural (still, a lot of farmers in there...) and they might have the best "capital usage" mechanism through their Capital mindshare, staking & MAF mechanisms 10/ about Xeet, I found out about Xeet early september and started to dive into it really early, I think I understood pretty quickly their mindset behind their product which I like. right now, as a content creator, this is what I'm focusing the most on because I do believe that it could be a massive cook (big rewards from campaigns, Xeet cards, Abstract airdrop?), i'm biaised in some way because I'm well ranked in Xeet but maybe it is because my content/brand deserves to be rewarded because it is valuable for projects? or maybe i'm just another farmer? who knows. one thing is sure, there is still hundreds of farmers gaming Xeet algos 11/ i did read 99% of comments, every quote post and its comments and I loved it because I don't hold the truth and i'm always open to new ideas, reading with attention everybody thoughts (when it's constructive) also helped me reflect on a lot of things 12/ I do find it quite sad that this is the type of content that usually blow up here, the outcome is mostly negative on the big scale because it turned into "who is pro-Kaito, who is not" which shouldn't even be a thing but when I create content trying to explain my takes on concepts around InfoFi or influence, it doesn't get the same amount of discussions/debates around it but well humans prefer fighting over learning together, learning is boring i get it.. 13/ I do really think that few people truly got the message behind my post which was simple: me, Caben, as a content creator, I do no think that creating content about projects listed on Kaito is worth my time anymore because of their mechanisms and flaws, instead i'll focus on other platforms. 14/ well I think that's all, what i'm gonna next is simple: i'll keep sharing my thoughts around InfoFi, like I'm doing since months, i'll keep tracking what Kaito is doing (they might be working on something called "Kaito Hub") and holding my sKAITO i'll keep trying to get better on what I think is worth my focus, learn new skills and share my honest thoughts :) chaotic post but it has its charm

sKaito YT dumped from its highs at 95% down to a more reasonable 67% APR I would guess its because the market is pricing in that a snapshot for the monad airdrop has been taken. Monad was one of the first LBs live on Kaito and they've been working closely ever since. And of course just 0.1% of the $MON supply would mean a massive allocation for Kaito stakers. Hence the price drop if the snap has indeed been taken

so i deposited on @solsticefi today i think it has enough going for it to actually end up being a potentially profitable play fundamentally I think there are a few things I look for when farming a protocol user count, time since started, tvl, and funding (obviously) user count: under 15k (good) time since started: 5 days (good and early) tvl: $195M (good) funding: nothing disclosed (good and bad) i think it is one of those plays you chuck a bit of funds into, maybe DCA (maybe not), maybe enough people forget about it and then you come away with a massive win by TGE of course it makes it hard since @xeetdotai has their own campaign for it so I am sure this will not be something you forget about necessarily pair all this with $SOL picking up more adoption and maybe this just ends up being a shinny new token for people to spin up a good narrative on real easy steps to take part: > have usdc in wallet > swap and mint USX > lock and get eUSX > explore other aspects of the ecosystem for bigger multipliers like LP'ing (but just do the first 3 first) i think since maybe fall-winter last year, there hasn't really been much to farm. after that last $JUP drop, every other protocol kind of ran its course and went to TGE. kamino, sanctum, tensor, parcl etc etc. with that being said, solstice could be good as it is one of the only promising opportunities in the SOL eco right now - well that and @TradeNeutral (but you guys love to overlook this one bc people are not tweeting about them constantly) don't ask me about the fud, i think it was a nothing burger tho also not paid for this obviously, i think it just might reward those who act on it even passively compared to not as the market goes higher, you need to slowly take out - then those stables you put to work - grow the stack again if you would like to sign up here is ref code to get started - AU2TdZTYzg
