@JereSimpson @usr_bin_roygbiv @GinoWickman Both can be true at once though He's saying meetings are only necessary when people have bad reading comprehension; You're saying verbal communication usually helps, which just proves his point that most people have bad reading comprehension

To each their own. IMO there any many things solved faster and with less overall time when multiple ppl can sync and have quick focus. I value the rest of the communications arsenal beyond written. Tone of voice. Body language. There is a poverty of words to describe everything that often needs to be said. Verbal language is imperfect.

This one has had a lot of airplay. Couple thoughts: meetings aren’t the enemy. Number of people isn’t the problem. Not having systems, accountability, focus, structure makes meetings and people useless. Shoutout to @GinoWickman for writing traction and giving the business world a system that makes all of that work well. Buy the book traction. Take the time to read it. Implement the system. Run a wildly successful company. Nobody runs a company where they talk on slack … once a week…. Well. It’s exciting to read. Yes A+ players are great and AI is the end of mediocracy. Don’t be mediocre. Don’t hire mediocre. That’s kinda obvious.
Roy@usr_bin_roygbiv

Every once in a while you work at a company that only hires people who know what they're doing, and suddenly its 20 people doing the same work as 400 somewhere else. There's zero meetings, everyone talks once a week on slack, and you go huh, how much garbage is there actually.

@Procrypt I don't know for sure, but resets get banked, so I think you should keep them after upgrading

Does anyone know the answer to this? (because the man from openai is airing me)
Procrypt@Procrypt

@thsottiaux if an account which hasn't used the reset yet is upgraded to Pro 20x will they a) lose the reset b) keep the reset and have it count for the higher tier c) keep the reset but only have it count partially

@ProfessorMommy @Robotbeat @bnwkr Sure, the AI can't own the rights, but can *you* own the rights to things you create using AI? That seems like a different question entirely

@Robotbeat @bnwkr -it does kinda come down to the court's decision in the end but the non-human part has been tested in court for sure and there's been some AI battles too that seem to lean toward prompts not being enough to make you a legal "author" & AI isn't human so it can't copyright anything

@richard_normal What I know about the procedural narrative generation of reality leads me to think that could really be a person and it shouldn't be it should obviously be a satirical joke and maybe it is but I'm not going to give the universe the satisfaction of looking to make sure it's fake.

We’ll look to hire a small team of academics that are (i) world-class in their field; (ii) completely AI-pilled; and (iii) great science communicators. Paired with a small team of researchers, we want to prove that AI models are ready to accelerate fundamental science—and accelerate research all over the world.

requirements.txt: ``` iniCopyEditpython-telegram-bot==22.2 ``` Example image usage: ```bash # Build once (from the folder containing Dockerfile, claude_tele.py, requirements.txt) docker build -t claude-code-tele . # Run interactively, mounting a project for Claude to work on docker run -it \ -e ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=$ANTHROPIC_API_KEY \ -e TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN=$TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN \ -v $PWD/myproject:/home/bot/app/repo \ claude-code-tele ``` You just message botfather on telegram to setup a new bot and use it's info in the bash command above, pretty simple overall

Yeah it's definitely possible. Here's a draft of a dockerfile to setup a Claude Code Telegram bot with basic development tools: ```dockerfile # ── Stage 1 : Runtime + dev tool-chain FROM node:20-bullseye-slim # 1. Basic OS packages & build tools RUN apt-get update && \ DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get install -y --no-install-recommends \ build-essential \ # gcc, g++, make, etc. git \ python3 python3-pip python3-venv python-is-python3 python3-dev \ openjdk-17-jdk-headless \ docker.io \ # docker CLI inside container (optional) curl wget unzip zip \ openssh-client ca-certificates && \ rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/* # 2. Optional JS helpers RUN npm install -g yarn # many projects still expect yarn # 3. Claude Code CLI RUN npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code # 4. Telegram gateway deps COPY requirements.txt /tmp/requirements.txt RUN pip install --no-cache-dir -r /tmp/requirements.txt # requirements.txt should contain: python-telegram-bot==22.2 # 5. Non-root user (good practice) RUN useradd -m -u 1000 bot WORKDIR /home/bot/app USER bot # 6. Copy gateway script(s) COPY --chown=bot:bot claude_tele.py . # 7. Default command – start the bot ENTRYPOINT ["python", "claude_tele.py"] ```

Nope, mine It's hard to explain what I experienced this week I made a @LambdaAPI server with GH200 (like H100) for $1.50/h Then I SSH'd in and installed Claude Code I gave it access to everything and it made a whole GPU inference platform, with Python and FastAPI and it worked Not as varied and scalable as FAL though and it can only run 1 model But I was shocked I got it working after like 1 hour! I am considering just putting Claude Code on all my VPS servers (I now make a new $10/mo Hetzner VPS for each new project for isolation finally) The VPS isolation per project makes sense in a world where I let my VPS be run by AI, if it breaks it I'll just spin up a new one and git clone and I'm back, assets are saved on R2 (like S3 but Cloudflare) See dad I'm a real developer now!!!
stemonte@stemonteduro

@levelsio Was it his idea to put Claude Code on the server?
