@kenwheeler @jaredpalmer “I’ll make this code I just added 3 turns ago that is only in your local branch and not pushed backwards compatible, I don’t want to break users from 11 pico seconds ago.”

It feels like current generation of coding agents are overfit to make code run (and render) successfully on every prompt. Too often, they emit “fallback” behavior and avoid breaking changes as a reward hack, sometimes not even telling you about it.

@heyandras You could increase cloud from $5/m to +$20/m and I bet most would still pay. With 3600+ paying users that would make a serious revenue boost.

I always had mixed feelings about sharing details openly, because I do not like to brag, but if someone asks, I share it. Coolify Cloud: 3600+ Sponsors (monthly, active atm): 490+ The total number of sponsors: ~1100-1200. They range from $1(💜) to $500(🤯). (I never thought I would ever have this much lol, thank you everyone!)
Khan@yKhanPDF

@heyandras If you don’t mind sharing, roughly how many paying customers do you have?

“I used to feel Nigerians are really bright. We’ve had over 500 vacancies since 2024, and we’re still struggling to find Nigerians to fill those roles. They don’t meet global standards. I blame social media, yahoo and hook up culture..” — Tosin Eniolorunda, Moniepoint CEO

So because you haven’t found people to fill positions in your company, you are now saying we aren’t bright??? How much can you pay??? Let’s start from there… you want to compete globally and pay peanuts to your workers after milking their rare skills … My guy you aren’t ready, when you are ready yoh know where to find them…

A founder told us our $10,000 quote was too high Went with a cheaper dev team and got them as a intern They figured it would be better to build an "in-house" person which can later be the CTO But the bottleneck was the craft of building products and the hire had never done that before They knew fancy terms like Reddis and went on a spree of putting together things The founder came back 3 months later with : - Auth didn't connect to the dashboard - Payments hardcoded. No webhook handling. - API had zero error handling - Credentials sitting raw in the codebase - Every feature worked alone. Nothing worked together. $8K spent. 3 months lost. Zero usable code. We quoted them again the same number for kickoff This time they said yes immediately : )

Are there any innovative fintech ideas left? Is it worth starting a company, when PayStack, Cleva, MoniePoint and the rest already exist?

@ycombinator @sdianahu @agupta This will not happen as users don't want that much customization. There's no customizes apparel even though the technology has been there for a decade.

Dynamic Software Interfaces @agupta Before AI, every user of a piece of software got the same interface. Coding agents are now good enough to let users become their own forward-deployed engineers. We think software companies will soon ship shared primitives with the full expectation that users will radically customize the final product themselves.

@tomilola_ng Yeah 😂. Thats very true. But we have to start from somewhere.. pick a niche you want to own the best model in- in 10yrs. cop a couple H100s , start with a base model, train it on (public / ( private if you can buy or request access) data and uno… 🤷🏿‍♂️

I saw someone’s tweet where he said he would build Jumia within two weeks. You mean Jumia? AI or no AI, you can’t achieve that. And even if you somehow do, you will serve Jail time.
