Since 1950, non-teaching and administrative positions across public schools have increased by 702%, far exceeding the 96% growth in the student population over the same period I'm not even being a smart ass about this. The United States spends more per capita on public education then pretty much every other country.

You want to fix education? Pay teachers more.

I joined @RatioDrones as one of the founding engineers we are building the MGC 1 for the DARPA LIFT Challenge in august its a turboshaft powered tandem rotor UAV with an 8:1 payload target and it can lift quite insane amounts of payload for its size and weight its been incredible to work with such a cracked team im the turbomachinery and simulations guy (big shocker) our team is small but dammit everyone is so good at what they do @LifeofRileyATX is one of the best mechanical engineers I've worked with, genuinely dont think ive seen a person work as proficiently as him

Growing up, my dad told us stories about saving up for college, which he admirably paid for himself working as a caddy, dock boy at a marina, groundskeeper. Had some great times. He also had a $2000 tuition bill for Columbia University It's $90,000 now
