HAWS personnel along with neighbouring Army units and Civil Administration carried out relentless rescue efforts employing specialised mountaineering equipment and high- altitude rescue expertise.Through exceptional courage, professionalism, and teamwork, 390 civilians were safely rescued . #IMA Dental Oral Health Awareness campaign of 3 days was organised by MDC Premnagar on occasion of World Health day 2026 for families of #IMA Indian Military Academy, Dehradun from 17 Mar to 19 Mar 2026 where 450 families along with kids were screened. AMC Centre & College, Lucknow The inaugural five days Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care (YRCCC) capsule, conducted at Officers Training College, AMC C&C, Lucknow, concluded on 13 Mar 26. 30 officers from all Arms & Services were trained in Tactical Combat Casualty Care to preserve fighting strength in operations. #IMA Lt Gen Gurmit Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd), Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, addressed the Officer Cadets at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on the theme “Indian Army Officer as a Nation Builder.” He emphasised Nation First – Rashtra Sarvo Pari, the legacy of supreme sacrifice and the noble responsibility of leadership in uniform. Highlighting that learning is a continuous process, he spoke about the vital bond between officers and men in units and the evolving character of modern warfare involving AI, cyber, space and quantum technologies, as well as hybrid and proxy conflicts.
