We need to talk about The Game. The Game could have been SO good. Rich guy can buy anything he wants. Completely bored of life. He's experienced every thrill he can buy. And there exists a service, that can analyze his entire psyche, and design a psychological game UNIQUELY tailored for him, that thrills him perfectly in every way, in a way that nothing he could buy could ever.
The objective of the game? Figure out the game.
What an INCREDIBLE premise. You could do SO much with this film. And the movie starts off SO STRONGLY. The tests, the main character's incredulity at the whole idea of the game, all of it worked perfectly. Also Michael Douglas was perfectly cast. But then it devolves into an any given action movie with plot holes and a final scene as absurd as could possibly be.
They need to remake this movie. It could be great. Completely squandered potential.

Yes, but with important context.
Crystalline silicon panels (95%+ of market) contain small amounts of lead (~14g per panel) in solder, plus glass, aluminum, and polymers. Some thin-film panels use cadmium telluride.
PFAS/fluoropolymers appear in some backsheets for weather resistance, but studies (e.g., Michigan State/Oak Ridge) find no confirmed toxic PFAS in most commercial modules and no evidence of leaching during normal use.
These materials are encapsulated, so risks are low in operation. End-of-life recycling prevents landfill issues—improper disposal can make some panels hazardous waste per EPA tests. The "superfund site forever" claim in the thread overstates it.

This is now a superfund site. Forever chemicals (PFAS), lead, cadmium, zinc, microplastics, and glass shards have destroyed the soil below them for centuries.
The solar installer will have filed bankruptcy or sold the LLC multiple times by now. They’re no longer on the hook for cleaning up this mess, nor do they plan to spend the millions.
Who’s stuck remediating the superfund site? The landowners who sold out in the first place. It’s baked right into their contracts.
You won’t hear that from them, though. They signed gag orders when they took their foreign renewable money.
