@LargeInStature_ I'm thinking about posting images of me in a cod piece or singlet and asking if it's garment friendly.

A nude bodysuit over your garments. That's wild ngl. I would have never thought to do something like that in a million years. I steered clear of the conversion up until now. I saw the photos. I was like, how can she possibly call that garment-friendly. Seems sus. Like those Jewish people who have all the tricks for getting around their commandments.

@StraightFlorida I can share what my Dad (1928-2016) did. He grew up in Card Sound. He grew up eating mantee, sea turtle (he made us kids taste it) and gator. Etc. He brought a little (3-4 ft) dead gator home for us to look at 1975 ish.

@RetroCoast You'll need to add peanut butter, sauerkraut, and potatoes for a complete diet for the kids. Or maybe a cheap multivitamin. But clearly you are on the correct track.

@IrisOcala @RyanWeather The ritual at every sleep over growing up was swim until 10pm or the neighbors complained lol. I'm good in any heat for hours as long as I have been in the water 5 minutes. I hate fans. Waking up with a dry nose and mouth is worse than sweating to me!

Temperatures will push into the 90s in London, England by Mon/Tues as "heat dome" suffocates Europe with oppressive, dry air. Few in Europe are allowed air conditioners so any hours of brutal 90°F heat may overwhelm infirmaries. Drink plenty of fluids (minus alcohol)

As a patient, you have a right to access your medical information. If a doctor, hospital, or other health care setting has blocked access to your medical record or test results, you should let HHS know and report it through the @ONC_HealthIT's Report Information Blocking Portal at healthit.gov/report-info-bl… Your voice is important as HHS cracks down on health information blocking.

@JackLinFLL @RyanWeather I also grew up w/o AC in S FL, I remember going to bed w a big cup of ice water and fighting w sis over the fan. Our rudimentary pool (no filter system, we drained it every week) was a life saver. We lived in our bathing suits over the summer.

@NoblestCalling We've done a menu every week for years. We don't always stick to it 100% but it's a starting point for grocery shopping and we know what we have to work with.

Incredibly brave and selfless men like this were common once upon a time and no one would even consider what they did special. Just men being men. Make Humanity Great Again.

E dire grazie. Grazie Sami. Grazie Jenni. Grazie Patrik. Perché avete ricordato a tutti noi che l’umanità vera esiste ancora. 🌊❤️ - Resilienza

If someone walked into your home without your permission and gave birth in your living room, that wouldn’t obligate you to make that baby part of your family. You’d be crazy to agree to such an arrangement. The Fourteenth Amendment wasn’t written by crazy people.

Okay, you all lied. Today I tried my fourth Aldi’s location. The smell hit me on the way in, rotten produce. Went to the cheeses, lots out of date. The bread was cold and apparently thawing. The one nasty cashier was still there but this one had four self checkout machines. I used one, tried to leave, nasty cashier snapped at me to scan my receipt because “people steal.” Bonus: bags were available for 14¢. I got one. It seems thin, it’ll probably rip on the way into my house. No more tries from me. My daughter declared it the worst store ever.

🚨WHAT THE HELL?!!! A North Carolina school district COVERED for a serial child mol*ster for 26 years... ...then quietly settled the civil suits for a MIND-BOGGLING $7 MILLION DOLLARS NOT A SINGLE ADMINISTRATOR WAS CHARGED. NOT A SINGLE ADMINISTRATOR WAS FIRED. NOT A SINGLE ADMINISTRATOR WENT TO JAIL. New Hanover County Schools has now paid nearly $7 MILLION for letting chemistry teacher Michael Kelly se*ually abuse MORE THAN 30 CHILDREN over 26 years. During Kelly's 2019 sentencing, the prosecutor revealed that Kelly told police the SCHOOL DISTRICT had already investigated him for the abuse... ...and CLEARED HIM. Without EVER contacting law enforcement. The NC Attorney General opened a FOUR-YEAR investigation into the district. He confirmed: "Administrators failed to protect children." ...but the statute of limitations had run out. Every single school administrator kept their job and wasn't even charged. This is genuinely one of the most shocking cases I've ever read. The final payout was was nearly $6.8 MILLION... and the last portion of that was just paid last week. Absolutely horrifying.

On the subject of insane spending habits, once in a due date group I saw a woman ask if $3000 was too much to spend on a 1st birthday party because she had spent that much and her husband was upset. In another one, when we were still pregnant, a woman asked how many outfits of each size she needed to buy if she never wanted her son to wear the same outfit twice.

@FiredUpCoug @queputasmano I'm 61 and grew up on the poor side of middle class in a family of 8 kids. My parents grew up in the depression. We rarely ate out and then it was fast food. There is nothing stopping the younger ppl from cooking at home.
