China is negatively impacted exponentially compared to the US as a result of what is happening. From an oil and natural gas standpoint, there is really nobody better positioned in the world to absorb this. Between this and Venezuela Trump has literally depleted China of their main fuel sources and their economy is much more fragile

@Nightynigh78133 Ending the nuclear threat is certainly helpful to America. Weakening the Iranian regime is certainly helpful to America. If things work out well and Iranians get freedom, it will immensely benefit the whole world.

There's a lot I hate about Trump, but I'm coming around to the idea that occasionally putting an asshole in charge that pushes back against every status quo *could* be good for the long-term. I expect the best stuff (e.g. childhood vaccine policy) will bounce back immediately.

Are you paying attention right now? This morning: Anthropic gets BANNED from the Pentagon. Tonight: Anthropic is back at the table NEGOTIATING with the Pentagon. They got banned, hit #1 on the App Store, and used that leverage to come back with a better deal. Getting banned was the marketing strategy. This is the greatest power play in tech history and nobody sees it. 💀
The Kobeissi Letter@KobeissiLetter

BREAKING: The US Pentagon has formally notified Anthropic that it has deemed the company a "supply chain risk." This marks one of the first times in modern history that the US government has labeled a US tech company a "supply chain risk."

@kurt13warner @tonygig @MrBadog How may fines does the NFL hand out on a weekly basis Kurt? Take the L Your team cheated Kurt, everyone did this… do you think you should give up your jacket (which is actually HILARIOUS to see you have one and not Bill)

@tonygig @MrBadog Ok now let’s argue that they were fined for doing nothing wrong… you win! I’ll take the L… Why can’t we just have a civil conversation… not even about the Patriots! My argument is IF you cheat there CAN be ramifications of that! That’s how I feel it should be!

Again please don’t take this as just being about BB, it’s not, it’s just a big picture perspective I have… but that is such a bad argument to me for someone who chose to go outside the rules and try to gain an advantage!!! So if someone cheats on you & you punish them in some way… once that punishment is over, is all forgotten & forgiven? Does it absolve them of their actions? I just don’t get this argument… but maybe I’m just different!!

You literally write “accusations” and then in the next sentence say that cheating is not opinion, but fact. Spygate everyone was doing as you’re replying to another HOF coach saying includes himself, deflagate is the dumbest shit ever (Brady not getting in??), and the rest is just that Polian is a little bitch who could never win so always cried wolf and “cheating”. Pathetic losers

@JimmyJohnson It wasn’t just SpyGate. It was SpyGate + DeflateGate + Chargers/colts accusations of playoff cheating over all the years. This was an accumulation of “cheating” which is not an opinion - these are facts. He is getting in Hall of Fame, just not 1st ballot bc of the cheating

If they are using the EXCUSE of spygate that’s ridiculous…many teams (including ourselves) tried it..Howard Mudd at Kansas City who later coached for Bill Polian and Tony Dungy gave us the idea..he was the best..we didn’t get anything and stopped but many teams gave it a try

🎙️@robparkerMLBbro: "I have mad respect for sports writers to be able to say Bill Belichick shouldn't be rewarded for cheating." 🎙️@Kdubblive: "Is this just them saying, 'you're not getting in first ballot or are they trying to make a statement and say you're not getting in?'"

Really took you some time for Grok to get you the answer you were looking for there. Worth adjusting for the fact that the US GDP is so much higher than anyone else, specifically on a per capita basis which is heavily* driven by those high income earners. On an absolute $ bases… high earning Americans pay out the ass in taxes and it’s all pissed away.

@WorldByWolf @PeterMcCormack It is very much concern with China involved. And yes… the nearly identical situation that happened in Panama when the US did the same thing. Gunna tell me that didn’t work out for Panamanians over the last 30+ years??

@PeterMcCormack It’s not the concern of the US how Venezuela’s economy is doing, if it was they wouldn’t have sanctioned them. Why was now such an urgent time for something to be done? Can you name a single successful US government coup that has been a success and has benefited the natives?

All the socialists retards are coming out to condemn what is happening in Venezuela, while all the Venezuelans are celebrating. The people who want us to turn into a socialist hell hole don't even know the reality inside Venezuela, while the Venezuelans will tell you don't try this shit. As someone who went there a few years to make a documentary, the devastation is no joke. It used to be the richest country in South America and what Chavez started and Maduro continued should be a HUGE warning to all of us. I saw families living on the street in Cucuta, a Colombian border town, doing anything to earn money to send home. Violent gangs controlled the import of goods into the country. Millions have fled the failed to state because they wanted to eat, with border countries absorbing them. I met successful people who fled the country when their life savings were wiped out through hyperinflation. Election after election has been stolen, politicians jailed and forded into exile. Journalists harassed, forced into exile too and murdered. Protestors shot at by the military. While Mauduro and his good gorged on steak, the people went hungry. We visited charities trying to feed hungry kids and mothers. We met pro-Maduro protestors sent onto the street in return for a basic basket of food (the same dependency we create here in the West with welfare). Friends had their businesses harassed, property stolen by the state and forced to escape or face prison. It is the natural end state for socialists - attacks on freedom, collapsed economy, hungry people, no free press, no free elections and violence from the state. It is the only way these socialists keep their bullshit alive. I am not here to argue the intentions of Trump, I imagine pretty much every Venezuelan would do an oil deal for freedom. All you socialists are really just dumb fucks and have never seen it up close. If you did, you wouldn't be a socialist.

Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neill
We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota. You have probably read the serious allegations that the state of Minnesota has funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to fraudulent daycares across Minnesota over the past decade. Today we have taken three actions against the blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country: 1. I have activated our defend the spend system for all ACF payments. Starting today, all ACF payments across America will require a justification and a receipt or photo evidence before we send money to a state. 2. Alex Adams and I have identified the individuals in @nickshirleyy's excellent work. I have demanded from @GovTimWalz a comprehensive audit of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections. 3. We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at childcare.gov Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you. We have turned off the money spigot and we are finding the fraud. @ACFHHS @HHSGov

Just check the videos of the dozens already prosecuted… they are all in on it. They are kicking back money to fellow Somalians to sign up their kids with no intention of ever going and just siphoning the money anyways. Requirement… show up the 2 days a year for known inspections, since pop ins would obviously be racist

@COrb59 @IsThisSmart17 @PopulistBlock @CBSNews You can file the paperwork to get a license. You can put a notice saying you're closed for the day to facilitate a scheduled inspection (or round up a bunch of youth relatives and kids of fellow scammers to stage for the day). What is much tougher is to fake ongoing clients.

CBS News
CBS News@CBSNews·
A recent video by conservative YouTuber Nick Shirley alleged nearly a dozen day care centers in Minnesota that are receiving public funds are not actually providing any service. After the video went viral, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced a "massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud" in the state. CBS News conducted its own analysis of nearly a dozen day care centers mentioned by Shirley: all but two have active licenses, according to state records, and all active locations were visited by state regulators within the last six months. CBS News' review also found dozens of citations related to safety, cleanliness, equipment, and staff training, among other violations, but there was no recorded evidence of fraud.
