The Spielberg-produced Netflix dinosaur series is jaw-dropping. Literally the greatest piece of non-fiction dinosaur content ever conceived.

If we could immediately ask everyone who voted in Nunavut in the last election whether they voted primarily for the party or the candidate, what do you think the result would be?

@RoyceKoop Eh more just a general observation. The shift has been noticeable for a bit. Do you it's a fair statement that you've become more partisan in your tweets?

Thinking about that guy who “temporarily” gave up his safe seat for PP and is now probably looking at three more years of unemployment

We have a new episode out a little early this week. Guests are Iran experts @stephenwertheim and @Rob_Malley. A lot of great insights into the history of America’s Iran policy, Trump’s assassination-drunk hubris, and why the Dem establishment always seem to tacitly support war.

If anything, the ancient warning about hubris applies to Iran, not America. They were the ones who scoffed at negotiations. They were the ones who launched a 7 front war to destroy Israel. They were the ones who have consistently attacked us for 47 years with barely a response.
Dan Carlin@dccommonsense

I see many quoting ancient authors(Thucydides, etc)when trying to find applicable passages to the Iran war. But this is to miss the forest for the trees. The ancients made a big point of condemning HUBRIS as a factor in the humbling of powerful peoples/states.We are drowning in it.

Thank you @GovRonDeSantis for honoring President Reagan with the unveiling of this new statue in Miami yesterday, on his birthday. Now standing on @FIU’s campus, it's a fitting tribute to the man who warned: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”

@kshahrooz Cool, what makes America different than other countries here? Is there a distinct reason or something? Maybe biological or structural to our form of democracy? Ya this is a nonsense take unless we suggest all countries are inherently untrustworthy because they could elect a moron

Erin, I think it's simply a term that, for a lot of people on the right, signals things like globalisation and the empowerment of international organisations and multinational corporations at the expense of regular working people and communities. I remember you as leader doing a great deal to reorient the party towards concern for people and communities like that.

Two words of advice. First, serious people should not wink & nod to social media conspiracy theory buzzwords. Second, the Prime Minister should just come clean and admit to being a 90s professional wrestling fan. That is all.

@realJ_Mitchell @ArfinNathaniel I would suggest a widespread understanding of our positions as members of communities would do more to create a better world than an understanding of a role in a nebulous (especially for younger students) global village.

@realJ_Mitchell @ArfinNathaniel Yes, and I'm sure if we had a conversation we'd find more points of agreement. That said, for students to understand their role in the global village they must first and foremost be grounded in their roles as members of their communities. I think this is too often missed in GCED
