NO - US Constitution is not compatible with Islam. Adherence to the US constitution makes you commit genocide, undertake colonial wars in this world and burn in hellfire in the hereafter. Adherence to Islam establishes peace & justice in this world and takes one to heaven in the hereafter.

Sahih al-Bukhari 2782 Narrated `Abdullah bin Masud: I asked Allah's Messenger, “O Allah's Messenger! What is the best deed?" He replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." I asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To be good and dutiful to your parents." I further asked, what is next in goodness?" He replied, "To participate in Jihad in Allah's Cause." I did not ask Allah's Messenger anymore, and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more. So, even if I presume you and I are acting in good faith, I don't believe others are.

@anjewla90 Thank you, Angela, I definitely affirm and begin from the understanding that the Quran is the word of God, and would welcome any conversation on the implications of this for Muslims in America or generally, or any other conversation flowing from that.

@IsmailRoyer However, if you're willing to begin our conversation from the shared understanding that the Quran is the perfect, complete, and unchanged word of God, then I think we can have an honest discussion. Which is what the people you were with in that room should have done.
