It wasn't long ago that Ice Baths were unquestionably the greatest thing for you. Everyone bought in, and everyone jumped down your throat if you suggested otherwise.
I was very early in calling out it's disrupting the mechanisms of muscular adaptations for muscle growth (similar to taking anti-inflamatories). No one cared, because it was The Latest Thing™ in the esoteric online health scene.
Now, people recognize cold therapy as having some benefits but not good for hypertrophy.
Something to keep in mind ie The Latest Thing™.

Every single night on a walk with the wife and baby we bump into the same old fella.
He’s 86 years old and does the same 60 minute route on his walk every night.
He’s in legit shape, sharp as a tac in conversation and looks 20 years younger.
Asked him yesterday how he feels day to day.
He responded “Like I’m 18 years old”

I could clear 500g of protein in only 4 feedings while keeping calories < 4,000 with relative ease
Breakfast would be:
- 4 extra large eggs
- 2 pieces of toast
- 8 oikos triple zeros
Yield: 1,240 calories / 154g protein
Snack would be:
- 3 servings egg white protein powder from True Nutrition
- 3 servings of unsweetened vanilla Almond Milk
Yield: 450 calories / 84g protein
Lunch would be:
- 4 mission low carb tortillas
- a bunch of shredded lettuce
- 16oz marinated chicken
- 1 serving shredded cheese
- 4 oikos triple zero Greek yogurts
Yield: 1,540 calories / 190g protein
Dinner would be:
- 12oz of 93/7 ground beef
- 1 cup of rice
Yield: 710 calories / 73g protein

“Eat 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh.” That’s 230 grams of protein a day for me. That’s not….possible. I can’t possibly eat any more eggs or drink any more protein shakes. How on earth do people do this? Eat beef jerky in their sleep?

Who’s the best bodybuilder of all time?
I think it has to be @Schwarzenegger . I’m not talking just best physique - I mean best overall. Guy grew the sport in an amazing way, and was just an absolutely amazing ambassador including his Arnold contests
Number two? I think I’d have to give it to @mrojaycutler . He’s had staying power unlike many others and continues to be a major part of the industry.

The base schedule for my monthly group programming is indeed Upper/Lower/OFF/Upper/OFF/Lower/OFF
This makes the training days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
While this will remain the base schedule for fatigue management reasons, I have ZERO problem with people moving the second lower up a day so the training days become Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
I’ve actually encouraged some group members to do this for practical reasons
The difference in terms of outcome will likely be negligible so if the Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday option better suits your schedule, go for it

The DBs at my 1st gym only went up to 38kg, which I thought was huge at the time
Started off benching way lighter DBs until eventually I could lift these bad boys 3x10 in my BRO SPLIT
Now I only use machines for my chest presses & often wonder if i’ll go back to free weights
