Midnight thought-
First they tell us we have too many people then tell us we arent reproducing enough?
Why does America need 500 million people anyway?
Mouths to fee, homes to live in, and jobs to work. Since our boomers are on the way out and robots are on the way, who needs the USA looking like overpopulated like Africa and India anyways?
Something isnt adding up.
English

@spencerpratt @bariweiss do you condone this? Heads should roll.

Dostoevsky was 28 when they stood him in front of a firing squad. Blindfolded. Hands tied. He could hear the rifles being loaded.
At the last second a messenger on horseback arrived. The Tsar had commuted the sentence. The entire execution was staged. Psychological torture designed to break him.
It worked. He had a seizure on the spot.
They sent him to a labour camp in Siberia. 4 years. Freezing. Starving. Sleeping on wooden planks next to murderers. His epilepsy got worse. He had no paper. No pen. Nothing.
When he got out he was broke. His first wife died. His brother died. He inherited his brothers debts. He was so desperate for money he signed a contract with a publisher that would have given away the rights to everything hed ever write if he missed the deadline.
He wrote The Gambler in 26 days to make it. Dictated it to a 20 year old stenographer named Anna. Married her three months later.
Then the real work started. Crime and Punishment. The Idiot. Demons. The Brothers Karamazov. The greatest novels in the history of the Russian language. Maybe any language.
The man who stood blindfolded before the firing squad, who convulsed on the ground while soldiers watched, who slept next to killers in Siberia for 4 years, who was buried in debt and grief.
That man wrote: "every minute can be an eternity of happiness."
He earned the right to say it.
its never over. never give up fren.

@glennbeck @nickshirleyy Hasan enjoys watching others suffer, we should force him to live in communism without any money
English

.@nickshirleyy responds to Hasan Piker after he claimed that Nick only visited Cuba "to manufacture propaganda for what I assume will be additional U.S. intervention":
“He’s the same person who went to Cuba with Ilhan Omar’s daughter to promote communism. He actually went on a paid trip from an organization to go to Cuba.
He saw what I saw with my own two eyes and he thought it was still a good idea to promote communism and socialism inside of a country that is letting its children starve and letting people go without internet. They don’t even have access to freedom of speech in this country, yet he still wants to promote that.
And so he’s going to call me stupid? Meanwhile, he’s seen what I’m seeing. I’m seeing people suffer. I’m seeing a civilization that is depressed, has no hope left in their eyes and yet he’s still advocating for more of that.”

@ScottPresler So, neither are we gonna believe any of these ridiculous pollsters. (Well, maybe Harry Enten, but only because of the CNN anchors’ faces. 🙂)

It’s worse than that.
In CO our liberal legislators voted for cuts in Medicaid for citizens, while adding more to illegal alien medical funds.
My daughter, Carissa, who was left permanently and catastrophically disabled by an illegal alien, was denied for the wheelchair she needs, and I pay for her physical therapy out of pocket.
But children of illegal aliens just got free dental care.

@MattClayton1000 @ChiefEngineerCE Fraud unless your name is Elizabeth Warner
English

@ChiefEngineerCE Is it illegal to say you are African American or some other ethnicity on job applications? People identify as different genders now so why not race? Is there an actual law that prohibits that? The shitlibs say we are all the same so what right does an HR have to say otherwise?
English

A guy DMd me with a story that perfectly shows how rigged the current hiring game has become.
He applied at a major financial institution. He figured he had no real shot because he is white and blind. So he changed the playbook. He applied as Black and without a disability. He had an interview and a job offer in two weeks. Faster than he had ever seen any employer move.
He later spoke with his attorney. The data he submitted cannot technically be used against him later, so he would have trapped the bank if they tried to fire him once they realized he was not Black.
This is what happens when companies rig the game with race and disability checkboxes. Some people play it. Most get beaten by it. If its no longer allowed to discriminate against folks, shouldn't these questions be removed?
The system now rewards lying and punishes honesty. Companies collect the data for diversity goals while claiming they only use it for non-hiring reasons.
Yet the outcomes speak for themselves.
This is institutional risk in plain sight. When you build hiring systems that incentivize fraud, you should not be surprised when people commit fraud.
I have DM's from a few I will share as posts. Chime in or DM if you have an interesting one you want to share anonymously.

@DHSgov I'm legitimately voting democrat in the mid terms largely because the deportations have not culminated.
You failed me. And now I will fail you.
English

This is our why.
Carissa Aspnes was riding on the back of a motorcycle when she was hit by an illegal alien who was released into our nation by the Biden administration. The crash left Carissa disabled for life.
Through ICE’s VOICE Office, we’re providing resources to families like the Aspnes’ who have been victims of illegal alien crime.
Angel families will always have the support of @POTUS Trump, DHS, and @ICEgov. You are why we fight.

@RepPettersen Time to circle back! It must suck not having a heart. Go visit my stepdaughter, Carissa, in Parker. I’m done saying please, so go do it. An ILLEGAL immigrant permanently disabled her.
You Colorado Dems are awful people. I don’t know how you sleep at night.

English

@JJB_man so are you actually saying (or are you being sarcastic?) that the GOP should gerrymander but Dems shouldn't?
English

At some point, doesn't the good of the country outweigh the good of a political party? It's utterly freakin' insane how many Republicans are on board with Trump's push to redistrict as many states as possible. We need far more, not fewer, competitive seats. The current system where basically the primary is the only election that matters in most House seats is a disaster for the nation and is largely responsible for our worthless and dysfunctional Congress.
This is Trump's second-worst idea and yet so many Republicans don't say a thing.
To be fair to the cowardly Republican politicians, though, they know (and Indiana proved yesterday) that GOP base voters don't care about anything but serving Trump and amassing power. This is NOT a problem of just the GOP. Base voters on the left are exactly the same and Biden amassed power when he could and the left will do it again when they can.
Two things have to happen for this to get better: First, voters have to get smarter and more principled. That is unlikely in any time frame that matters. Second, the federal government has to get smaller so there's less incentive to amass power. That is impossible in any time frame that matters.
So, as a nation we're screwed.
Sure, some of us will fight the decline but it's inevitable, at least for a while, until we get someone like the next Reagan (and I don't rule Marco Rubio out as having that potential if he wanted to be that guy). There will never be help from the Democrats when it comes to saving the country.
Finally, I note that Trump is more a symptom than a cause of governmental dysfunction. That, again, is the fault primarily of voters.

CO rep Lorena Garcia runs a nonprofit that never got gov grants before she was APPOINTED to office
Every yr since, the amount her org gets has grown - it's now multi-millions in pure grants (no svc provided)
She pays herself & her family almost $300k/yr

Yep. Homelessness in Denver exists to move taxpayer funds between the government and NGOs, and vice-versa.
The worse thing to happen to Colorado Democrats would be for homelessness to be eradicated.
It’s an industry in and of itself. The product/service is the “seemingly legitimate” MASSIVE financial transactions that take place between NGOs and City.
No homeless human beings = no products. Without them and the suffering they endure, the government cannot move and obscure MASSIVE sums of money and ask for more. NGOs wouldn’t be able to pay themselves. The politicians wouldn’t get their cut.
English

@dobetterdnvr @DenverAuditor If you give money to a non-profit they will never solve the problem. To solve it would mean putting themselves out of business. They are incentivized to actually grow homelessness…the more homeless, the more money they receive to help the homeless.
It’s a never ending grift.
English

Welcome to Denver where the homeless industrial complex rakes in billions to “manage” homelessness.
Recent audits show $150M+ in untracked homeless spending under Mayor Johnston. @DenverAuditor found $20M in underreported costs of Johnston’s All In Mile High Initiative.
There is no incentive to end the crisis when NGOs get paid to perpetuate it.
More money ≠ solutions.

@BarackObama You had 12 years to fundamentally transform America - and you did.
Why can’t you just go home to your wife and enjoy your immense wealth together like other presidents?

State supreme court justices play a critical role in defending your rights and freedoms, which is why the election happening in Georgia right now is so important.
Make sure you have a plan to vote for Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin, the only two candidates in the race with strong records of standing up for all Georgians.
Early voting is already underway and Election Day is May 19th. Find out where you can vote at IWillVote.com/GA.

THIS IS INSANE
Abdirashid Ismail Said, a Somali fraudster indicted for committing MASSIVE Medicaid fraud in Minnesota, has reportedly FLED THE COUNTRY.
After posting bond set by Democrat-appointed Judge Juan Hoyos, Said was allowed to keep his passport and reportedly fled the U.S. for Kenya.
His Somali fraud partner, Said Awil Ibrahim, was just given a plea deal and will serve no jail time.
This is what Democrat "justice" looks like.
