Ah yes, DS2...the game known for having 2 directors (one leaving mid-development) and it being ripped apart in it's final year and stitched together to the point where multiple rooms in the game are unfinished has no design flaws. It's perfect. Masterpiece even.

Assassin's Creed 2 may be my favorite AC game, but this person is not wrong at all, and looking at the reaction, I think peeps might be misinterpreting what he's saying.
The games after AC1 completely abandoned that philosophical tone for a safe bet formula designed for mainstream appeal. There hasn't been an AC remotely similar to what AC1 was trying to do. Obviously I prefer other AC games over the first but there's undeniable truth to his statement.
