A performance based salary with bonuses. Annual increases. And comprehensive benefits. We've had employees as far back as 15 years. Its since 2020 that hiring became different. People often fail the drug screening, and at times are ineligible due to a criminal record or a compromised driving record.

My business operates under contract with a major corporation, which means candidates must pass a rigorous screening process. This includes a 7-year background check, driving record review, federal and state court records, drug screening, and a DOT physical. After that, they complete several days of training to earn a certificate of completion. Very few make it through, maybe 3 out of 1,000. And even among those who are hired, some fail to follow safety policies, procedures, or even show up consistently. The bane of my business. Retirement cant come fast enough

Does anyone else get asked to sign things at the doctor's office that aren't true? This is the second time. J is getting allergy shots, and the nurse says "I need you to sign this." I read it, and it says "I confirm we are leaving the premises despite being advised against doing so." I say "but we aren't leaving. You just told me we should wait here for 20 minutes, and we are." At the pediatrician: "we need you to sign this Good Faith Estimate. " Me: "I don't see the Estimate." Receptionist: "That is the Good Faith Estimate" Me: "... there is no number. If I sign this, you can charge whatever you want and I have to pay it. That seems contradictory to the purpose of GFE" Receptionist, now annoyed because how dare I read: "do what you want but they won't treat her if you don't sign and you'll pay a cancelation fee" How is this legal?

why i like clavicular i have one metric that i look at when i evaluate a person that i value above all metrics are you living the life you want to live we all have different preferences and innate capabilities and even if your preferences are vastly different than mine, i really admire you if you live life on your own terms. in fact, my main definition of a normie is someone who does NOT actively think about what kind of life he wants and he just does what everyone else does. the most clearly defined normie to me is the middle and upper middle class brit: - go to university somewhere - get an entry level job in finance or consulting in london - marry your university gf - buy a house in a shitty area in outer london - get married, have a kid by 30 that’s literally the identical path for 90% of middle class british people i know and i lived in the uk for 4 years. the majorits of people do not choose their life, they just follow the identical playbook layed out for them by society clavicular is different even though i would 80-20 looksmaxxing by hitting the gym, eating well and dressing well instead of taking it to the limits like him, i feel like he CHOSE this life and that fact alone makes me respect him he also gets unlimited baddies, makes a lot of money, is famous, has no boss and is in full control of his time, created a global trend and has a great network, all traits i also respect in a person. and you want to hear the funniest thing? i feel like anyone who has achieved something should look at clavicular and think "not my cuppa tea but i respect what you did". it’s only normies who never took a risk to get a chance of a life on their own terms that look at clav and insult him they see someone who does what he wants and lives life on his own terms and it reminds them of what could have been if they made better choices and it triggers them on a deep level at the end of the day it’s just one metric are you living life on your own terms

@mathias_gilson @IanSooHoo @shadcn Sure, but let’s say we invest in those nations and build all of that infrastructure. After 10 years the infrastructure will be decayed and broken down. The nation itself needs to be able to build and maintain it or the problem persists.
